4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Speaker

  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

4.2. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns off.

4.3. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your xdobo BMTL Mission speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device:

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (the indicator light will flash). If not, short press the 'M' button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "xdobo BMTL Mission" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicator light will remain solid.

4.4. Wired Connection (AUX)

For devices without Bluetooth, you can use an AUX cable (not included) to connect:

5. Operating Instructions

5.3. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

You can pair two xdobo BMTL Mission speakers together for a true wireless stereo sound experience:

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), short press the ∞ (TWS) button. The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The primary speaker will automatically search for and connect to the second speaker.
  4. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound. The indicator light on both speakers will change to indicate a successful TWS connection.
  5. Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in section 4.3. Audio will play in stereo through both speakers.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your speaker.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the speaker's surface. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Water Resistance: The speaker is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposure to water. After exposure to water, dry the speaker thoroughly before charging.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
  • Battery Care: To preserve battery life, charge the speaker fully before long periods of inactivity and recharge it at least once every three months.
