5. Maintenance

  • Clean the phone cage with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are secure.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Phone does not fit: Verify your smartphone's dimensions against the specifications (thickness < 10mm, width 60-80mm, length < 180mm). Remove bulky phone cases if necessary.
  • Wireless controller not connecting: Ensure the controller is charged and powered on (press and hold for 3 seconds). Check your smartphone's Bluetooth settings to ensure it's discoverable and paired with 'SmallRig WR-06'.
  • Accidental button presses: The V-mount design is intended to prevent this. Ensure your phone is centered and properly seated within the V-shaped rubber blocks.
  • Unstable footage: While the dual handgrips reduce shake, this is not a motorized gimbal. For highly stabilized shots, consider additional stabilization accessories.
