Drainage Options

Your dehumidifier offers two methods for water removal:

1. Manual Drainage (Water Tank)

The unit collects condensed water in its 1.8-liter removable water tank. When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off, and an indicator light will illuminate. To empty:

  1. Gently pull out the water tank from the back of the unit.
  2. Empty the collected water.
  3. Slide the water tank back into place until it clicks securely. The unit will resume operation.

2. Continuous Drainage

For extended operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can use the included drain hose for continuous drainage.

  1. Locate the continuous drain outlet on the back of the unit.
  2. Remove the rubber stopper (if present).
  3. Connect one end of the provided drain hose to the outlet. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.
  4. Direct the other end of the hose to a suitable drain point (e.g., floor drain, large bucket). Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity to drain the water.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

Cleaning the Air Filter

The washable nylon filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Remove the air filter from its slot (usually located at the back or side).
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not expose to direct sunlight or high heat.
  5. Reinsert the dry filter into the unit.

  1. Empty the water tank and ensure it is clean and dry.
  2. Clean the air filter.
  3. Wrap the power cord neatly.
  4. Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
