3. Setup Guide

3.1 Connecting the Printer

  1. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the printer's power port and then plug the power cable into a suitable electrical outlet.
  2. Data Connection: Choose one of the following connection methods:
    • USB: Connect the USB cable from the printer to an available USB port on your computer or POS system.

3.2 Loading the Paper Roll

  1. Open the printer cover by pressing the "OPEN" button or latch.
  2. Insert the 80mm thermal paper roll into the paper compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and the leading edge is straight.
  3. Pull a small amount of paper out past the cutter.

4.2 Customizing with NVLOGO

The BORN4SHIP V330M allows you to personalize your receipts by printing custom logos. Use the NVLOGO utility provided on the USB flash drive to upload your logo (in BMP format) to the printer's memory. Once uploaded, your logo can be included in your printed receipts via ESC/POS commands.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Print Head

To ensure optimal print quality and extend the life of your printer, regularly clean the thermal print head. Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the print head surface. Ensure the printer is powered off and cooled down before cleaning.

5.2 Paper Roll Replacement

When the paper roll is nearly empty, the printer may indicate a low paper warning. Replace the paper roll as described in Section 3.2. Always use high-quality 80mm thermal paper to prevent damage to the print head and ensure clear prints.

5.3 Overheating Protection
