1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Antec AX65 ARGB PC Case. Please read this manual thoroughly before beginning the assembly process to ensure proper installation and safe usage. Keep this manual for future reference.
Safety Information
- Always disconnect the power supply from the wall outlet before installing or removing any components.
- Wear an anti-static wrist strap to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage to components.
- Handle all components with care.
- Keep small parts away from children.
- Ensure proper ventilation during operation to prevent overheating.

2. Package Contents
Verify that all items listed below are present in your package. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact your retailer or Antec support.
- Antec AX65 ARGB PC Case
- Accessory Box (screws, cable ties, standoffs, etc.)
- User Manual (this document)
3. Setup and Component Installation
3.1 Preparation
- Unpack the PC case from its packaging.
- Remove the tempered glass side panel by unscrewing the thumb screws at the rear and carefully sliding it off. Place it on a soft, flat surface to prevent scratches.
- Remove the solid steel side panel by unscrewing the thumb screws at the rear and sliding it backward.
- Gather necessary tools: Phillips head screwdriver, cable ties (some included in accessory box).

3.2 Motherboard Installation
- Identify the correct standoff locations for your motherboard form factor (ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX). Install any necessary additional standoffs from the accessory box.
- Install the I/O shield into the rear opening of the case.
- Carefully place your motherboard onto the standoffs, aligning the screw holes.
- Secure the motherboard with the provided screws. Do not overtighten.
3.3 Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
- Position the PSU into the dedicated compartment at the bottom rear of the case.
- Ensure the PSU fan faces downwards (if the case has a bottom vent) or upwards (if no bottom vent).
- Secure the PSU to the rear of the case with the provided screws.
3.4 Storage Drive Installation
The AX65 supports both 2.5" SSDs and 3.5" HDDs.
- 2.5" SSDs: Mount SSDs to the dedicated brackets behind the motherboard tray or on the PSU shroud. Secure with screws.
- 3.5" HDDs: Install HDDs into the drive cage located under the PSU shroud. Slide the drive into the tray and secure it.

3.5 Expansion Card Installation (e.g., GPU)
- Remove the necessary PCI-E slot covers from the rear of the case.
- Align your expansion card with the PCI-E slot on the motherboard.
- Press firmly until the card is seated correctly.
- Secure the card with the provided screw.

3.6 Cable Management
Utilize the cable routing cutouts and tie-down points behind the motherboard tray to organize cables. This improves airflow and aesthetics.
3.7 Fan and Cooling Setup
The AX65 comes with three 120mm ARGB fans pre-installed at the front and one 120mm ARGB fan at the rear.
- Fan Connections: Connect the 3-pin ARGB fan cables to your motherboard's ARGB headers or a compatible ARGB controller. Connect the fan power cables to available fan headers on your motherboard or a fan hub.
- Liquid Cooling Support: The front panel supports radiators up to 360mm. The top panel supports up to two 120mm or 140mm fans, or a 240mm radiator.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On
After all components are installed and cables are connected, replace the side panels. Connect your monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cable. Flip the switch on your PSU to the 'ON' position, then press the power button on the case's top I/O panel.
4.2 ARGB Lighting Control
The pre-installed ARGB fans can be controlled via your motherboard's ARGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync) if connected to a compatible 3-pin 5V ARGB header. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific software instructions.
4.3 Front I/O Panel
The convenient top I/O panel provides easy access to essential ports and controls:
- Power Button
- Reset Button
- USB 3.0 Port
- USB 2.0 Ports (x2)
- Headphone Jack
- Microphone Jack

5. Maintenance
5.1 Dust Filter Cleaning
Regular cleaning of dust filters is crucial for maintaining optimal airflow and cooling performance.
- Top Magnetic Filter: Gently lift and remove the magnetic dust filter from the top panel. Clean it with a soft brush or rinse with water (ensure it is completely dry before reattaching).
- Bottom Pull-out Filter: Slide out the dust filter located at the bottom of the case (under the PSU). Clean it similarly to the top filter.
5.2 General Cleaning
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces of the case. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. For internal cleaning, use compressed air to remove dust from components and fan blades.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Ensure the PSU is switched on, the power cable is securely connected, and all internal power cables (24-pin, CPU, GPU) are properly seated. Check front panel power button connections to the motherboard.
- Fans Not Spinning/ARGB Not Lighting: Verify fan power cables are connected to motherboard headers or a fan hub. Ensure ARGB cables are connected to a 3-pin 5V ARGB header and controlled via software. Check for loose connections.
- Overheating: Ensure all fans are spinning correctly and oriented for proper airflow. Clean dust filters. Verify CPU cooler and GPU cooler are properly installed.
- Loose Components: If experiencing intermittent issues, re-seat RAM, GPU, and other expansion cards. Check all cable connections.
For persistent issues, consult your component manuals or contact Antec customer support.
