- Lava Rock Placement: Carefully distribute the provided lava rocks evenly over the burner area. Do not cover the igniter or burner holes completely.
- Leak Test: Before first use, perform a leak test. Mix a solution of soapy water (50% soap, 50% water). With the propane tank valve open and the fire pit control knob in the OFF position, apply the solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the propane tank valve immediately and tighten connections. Repeat the test. If leaks persist, do not use the appliance and contact customer support.
5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to safely light and operate your fire pit table:
- Open Gas Supply: Slowly open the valve on the propane tank counter-clockwise.
- Ignition: Locate the control knob on the side of the fire pit table. Push the control knob in and turn it counter-clockwise to the "ON" position. While holding the knob in, press the igniter button repeatedly until the burner ignites. You should hear a clicking sound and see flames.

- Lava Rocks: Periodically inspect lava rocks for debris. Replace if they become excessively dirty or degraded.
- Storage: When not in use, especially during off-season or inclement weather, cover the fire pit table with a weather-resistant cover (not included) to protect it from the elements. Store the propane tank in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Burner Inspection: Annually inspect the stainless steel burner and gas connections for any signs of wear, damage, or blockages. Ensure the burner ports are clear.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your fire pit table, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|

| Low flame or flickering flame. | Low propane; Regulator issue; Blocked burner ports. | Check propane level. Ensure regulator hose is not kinked. Clean burner ports. Reset excess flow valve by closing tank valve, turning off control knob, waiting 5 minutes, then slowly reopening tank valve. |
| Smell of gas. | Gas leak. | Immediately turn off gas at the tank. Perform a leak test (see Setup section). Do not operate if a leak is detected. Contact qualified service personnel. |
