Important Safety Instructions

• Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
• Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
• Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
• Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
• Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130°C (265°F) may cause explosion.
• Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
• Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
• Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack (as applicable) except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.

Setup

1. Assembly

1. Attach the Telescopic Pole: Insert the top end of the telescopic pole into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
2. Attach the Floor Brush: Connect the bottom end of the telescopic pole to the floor brush until it clicks securely.
3. Install the Battery: Slide the removable battery into the designated slot on the main unit until it locks.

2. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The battery takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge.

• Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the battery or the wall mount.
• Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
• The LED display will indicate charging status and battery level.

3. Wall Mount Installation (Optional)

The included wall mount allows for convenient storage and charging.

1. Choose a suitable location near a power outlet.
2. Mark the drilling points for the wall mount.
3. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
4. Secure the wall mount to the wall using screws.
5. Hang the vacuum cleaner on the wall mount for storage and charging.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Suction Modes

• Power On: Press the Power button on the main unit to start the vacuum cleaner.
• Adjust Suction: Press the Mode button to cycle through the 3 adjustable suction modes: Min, Mid, and Max. The LED display will show the current mode.
• Power Off: Press the Power button again to turn off the vacuum cleaner.

2. Using Different Attachments

The VIAFLY V16Pro-9 comes with multiple accessories for various cleaning needs:

• Floor Brush: Best for general floor cleaning on carpets, rugs, and hard floors. The LED lights illuminate dust in dark areas.
• 2-in-1 Brush: Use the brush mode for dusting delicate surfaces like keyboards or shelves, and the nozzle mode for general vacuuming.
• Long Crevice Nozzle: Perfect for reaching tight spaces, corners, and between sofa cushions.
• Sofa Brush: Ideal for cleaning upholstery, pet beds, and car interiors.

To change attachments, press the release button on the current attachment and pull it off. Then, align the new attachment and push it on until it clicks.

3. Self-Standing Feature

The vacuum cleaner is designed to stand steadily on its own on flat surfaces. This allows you to pause cleaning tasks instantly without needing to lean the vacuum against a wall or use a separate stand.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

1. Emptying the Dustbin

Empty the dustbin regularly, especially when the debris reaches the MAX fill line.

1. Hold the main unit over a trash can.
2. Press the dustbin release button (usually located near the bottom of the dustbin) to open the bottom flap and empty the contents.
3. Close the dustbin flap securely until it clicks.

2. Cleaning the Filters

The vacuum cleaner uses an 8-layer filtration system, including HEPA filters. Clean filters regularly to maintain suction power.

1. Twist and pull to remove the filter assembly from the dustbin.
2. Separate the HEPA filter and the metal mesh filter.
3. Tap off loose dirt from both filters.
4. Rinse the filters under cold running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergent.
5. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling and placing back into the vacuum. Ensure they are completely dry to prevent mold or damage.

It is recommended to replace HEPA filters every 3-6 months depending on usage.

3. Cleaning the Roller Brush

The V-shaped anti-tangle roller brush minimizes hair tangles, but occasional cleaning may be necessary.

1. Turn off the vacuum and detach the floor brush.
2. Locate the brush roll release mechanism (usually a latch or screw on the side of the brush head).
3. Remove the roller brush.
4. Use scissors or a cleaning tool to cut and remove any tangled hair or debris from the brush roll.
5. Reinsert the brush roll and secure the release mechanism.
