3. Safety Instructions

5. Setup and Installation

5.1. Wall Mount Installation (Optional)

The charger comes with a wall mount bracket for convenient storage and organization. It is recommended to use the provided support to prevent accidental movement or strain on the electrical outlet.

  1. Choose a suitable location near your parking spot and a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the surface is sturdy.
  2. Use appropriate screws and anchors (not included) to securely fasten the wall mount bracket for the control box.
  3. Install the storage base for the Type 2 connector to keep it clean and protected when not in use.

5.2. Connecting the Charger

  1. Ensure your vehicle is parked and turned off.
  2. Plug the Schuko plug of the charger into a standard, properly grounded 16A electrical outlet. The LCD display will illuminate.
  3. The charger is now in standby mode, indicated by a solid green LED.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Adjusting Charging Current

Before connecting to the vehicle, you can adjust the charging current:

  1. With the charger plugged into the wall and in standby mode, press the control button (item 8 in Figure 4.1) repeatedly.
  2. Each press will cycle through the available current settings: 6A, 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A.
  3. Select the desired current based on your electrical installation capacity and charging needs. For example, use 10A during peak household electricity usage or 16A for faster charging overnight.

6.2. Starting the Charging Process

  1. After selecting the current, open your vehicle's charging port cover.
  2. Firmly insert the Type 2 charging connector into your vehicle's charging port.
  3. The charger will initiate communication with the vehicle. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn blue and flash, indicating that charging is in progress. The LCD display will show real-time charging data.

6.3. Stopping the Charging Process

  1. To stop charging, first unlock the charging port from your vehicle (if applicable, refer to your vehicle's manual).
  2. Carefully remove the Type 2 charging connector from your vehicle.
  3. The charger will return to standby mode (solid green LED).
  4. Unplug the Schuko plug from the electrical outlet.
  5. Store the cable and connector properly using the provided storage base and carrying bag.

7. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from the power source before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the control box and cables. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the charger in the provided carrying bag in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the storage base for the Type 2 connector to protect it from dust and damage.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the charging cable, plug, and connector for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.

8. Troubleshooting
