Setup Instructions

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB cable to the clock and plug the 5V2A power adapter into a standard wall outlet. The clock requires continuous plug-in power to operate. It is not battery-operated for primary function.
  2. Battery Installation (for Memory Retention): For memory retention during power outages, install 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the clock. These batteries only save settings and do not power the display.
  3. Initial Settings: Upon first power-up, the clock may display default settings. Use the remote control to set the correct time, date, year, and temperature unit (Fahrenheit or Celsius). Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section for detailed steps.
  4. Wall Mounting: The clock can be mounted on a wall using the integrated hanging holes on the back. Ensure the mounting surface is secure and the clock is level.

Operating Instructions

All functions are controlled via the remote control.

  1. Setting Time and Date:

    • Automatic Dimming: Press the 'AUTO' button on the remote. The clock will automatically adjust brightness based on ambient light.
  4. Night Light Control:
    • Press the 'LIGHT' button on the remote to cycle through the 9 available colors for the ambient night light.
    • Press the 'OFF' button to turn off the night light.
  5. Timer Functions:
    • Countdown Timer: Press the 'TIMER' button. Use arrow keys to set minutes and seconds (up to 99:99). Press 'START/STOP' to begin/pause. Press 'RESET' to clear.
    • Count-up Timer: Press the 'TIMER' button twice. Press 'START/STOP' to begin/pause. Press 'RESET' to clear.
  6. DST (Daylight Saving Time) Setting: Press the 'DST' button on the remote to enable or disable Daylight Saving Time. The display will adjust accordingly.
  7. Temperature Unit: Press the '°C/°F' button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display.

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Clock display is off. Not plugged in or power adapter issue. Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to the clock and the power adapter is plugged into a working outlet. Verify the adapter is functional.
Settings are lost after a power outage. Memory backup batteries are not installed or are depleted. Install 2 new AAA batteries in the battery compartment for memory retention.
