Follow these steps for a secure installation. It is highly recommended to have at least two people for the installation process.
Pre-Installation Checks
- Verify Wall Type: Ensure your wall is suitable for mounting. This mount is designed for wood studs, concrete, or brick walls. Do not install into drywall alone.
- Locate Studs: Use a stud finder to accurately locate the center of your wood studs. Mark the desired height and center point for your TV.
- Check VESA Pattern: Confirm your TV's VESA mounting pattern is compatible with the mount (200x200mm to 1000x600mm).
Assembly Steps
- Remove Plastic Inserts from Mounting Rails: Carefully remove the plastic inserts from the mounting rails.
- Attach Side Brackets to Mounting Rails: Connect the side brackets to the main mounting rails using the provided hardware.
- Secure Wall Plate to Wall: Find the desired location on the wall using a stud finder. Pre-drill pilot holes. Then, secure the assembled wall mount to the wall using the appropriate lag bolts for wood studs or concrete/brick walls. Ensure the mount is level.
- Insert Plastic Inserts Back into Mounting Rails: Once the wall plate is securely mounted, re-insert the plastic inserts into the mounting rails.
