5. Setup

5.1 Assembly

  1. Insert the handle assembly into the main unit until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  2. Place the charging base on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet.

5.2 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the appliance. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours.

  1. Connect the power adapter to the charging base and plug it into a wall outlet.
  2. Place the Midea X10 onto the charging base. Ensure the charging contacts align.
  3. The display screen will indicate the charging status. The battery indicator will show a full charge when complete.

5.3 Filling the Clean Water Tank

  1. Press the release button and remove the clean water tank from the main unit.
  2. Open the tank cap and fill with clean tap water. You may add a small amount of non-foaming floor cleaning solution if desired (follow solution manufacturer's instructions). Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  3. Close the tank cap securely and reinsert the clean water tank into the main unit until it clicks.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

  • To turn on: Press the Power Button once. The appliance will start in standard cleaning mode.
  • To turn off: Press the Power Button again.

6.2 Selecting Cleaning Mode

The Midea X10 offers different cleaning modes for various needs.

  • Standard Mode: Suitable for daily wet and dry cleaning on hard floors.
  • Max Mode: Provides increased suction and water flow for stubborn dirt and messes. Press the Mode Selection Button to switch to Max Mode.
  • Dry Vacuum Mode: For vacuuming dry debris without dispensing water. Press the Mode Selection Button to cycle through modes until Dry Vacuum is selected.

6.3 Cleaning Your Floors

  1. Ensure the clean water tank is filled and the dirty water tank is empty.
  2. Tilt the main unit back to engage the roller brush and start cleaning.
  3. Move the vacuum cleaner slowly forward and backward over the area to be cleaned.
  4. The display screen will show the current mode, battery level, and any alerts.

6.4 Self-Cleaning Function

After each wet cleaning session, it is recommended to use the self-cleaning function.

  1. Place the vacuum cleaner back on the charging base.
  2. Ensure there is sufficient clean water in the clean water tank.
  3. Press and hold the Mode Selection Button for 3 seconds to activate the self-cleaning cycle.
  4. The appliance will run a cycle to clean the roller brush and internal pathways.
  5. Once complete, empty the dirty water tank.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Midea X10.

7.1 Emptying the Dirty Water Tank

Empty the dirty water tank after each use or when the 'Dirty Water Tank Full' indicator appears.

  1. Press the release button and remove the dirty water tank.
  2. Carefully open the tank and dispose of the dirty water.
  3. Rinse the tank and its filter thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.

7.2 Cleaning the Roller Brush

The roller brush should be cleaned regularly, especially after the self-cleaning cycle.

  1. Turn off the appliance and remove it from the charging base.
  2. Open the roller brush cover.
  3. Remove the roller brush. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any hair or debris.
  4. Rinse the roller brush under running water.
