Note: 1 AA battery is required and not included in the package.
Setup Instructions
- Insert Battery: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse. Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

- Retrieve USB Receiver: The 2.4G USB receiver is stored in a dedicated slot next to the battery compartment on the mouse's underside. Carefully remove it.
- Connect Receiver: Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer (PC, laptop, Chromebook, Mac).

- Power On: The mouse will automatically power on once the battery is inserted and the receiver is connected. No additional drivers are typically required.
Operating Instructions
The Redragon 2.4G Wireless Optical Mouse features 6 buttons for various functions:

- Left Button: Primary click function.
- Right Button: Secondary click function, typically opens context menus.
- Scroll Wheel: Scroll up or down through documents and web pages. Can also be clicked for middle-button functionality.
- DPI Button: Cycles through DPI settings (see "DPI Adjustment" section).
- Forward Button: Navigates forward in web browsers or file explorers. (Note: Not compatible with macOS).
- Backward Button: Navigates backward in web browsers or file explorers. (Note: Not compatible with macOS).
DPI Adjustment
The mouse offers 5 adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) levels to suit different tasks and preferences. Press the DPI button located behind the scroll wheel to cycle through the settings:
- 800 DPI
- 1200 DPI
- 1600 DPI (Default)
- 2400 DPI
- 4000 DPI
Each press of the DPI button will switch to the next sensitivity level. This allows for quick adjustments between precise work and faster cursor movement.

Battery Information
- Battery Type: 1 x AA battery (not included).
- Battery Life: Up to 18 months, depending on usage.
- Power Saving Mode: The mouse enters sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. To reactivate, simply click any button.
- Battery Replacement: When the mouse performance degrades or it stops responding, replace the AA battery.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the AA battery to prevent leakage. Store the mouse and USB receiver in a dry, cool place.
- Handling: Avoid dropping the mouse or exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture.
Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
- Ensure the AA battery is correctly inserted and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Verify the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port.
- Move the mouse closer to the USB receiver to rule out range issues.
- Restart your computer.
- Erratic cursor movement:
- Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse with a soft cloth.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface. Highly reflective or transparent surfaces may affect tracking.
- Check for interference from other wireless devices.
- Side buttons not working on macOS:
- This is a known compatibility limitation. The forward/backward buttons are not supported by macOS.
