3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Placement: Position the solar heater in an area that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. The foldable legs allow you to adjust the angle for optimal sun exposure.
2. Hose Connection: Connect the solar heater to your pool's filtration system. Cold water from the pool flows into the solar heater, is warmed by the sun, and then returned to the pool. The 90° rotatable hose connectors facilitate easy hose setup. The hose connectors fit joints of 1½" and 1¼".
3. Pump Requirement: A pump (not included) is required to circulate water through the solar heater. It is recommended to use a 1-2HP power pump with up to 16 GPM flow rate.
4. Multiple Units: For larger pools, multiple solar dome heaters can be linked together to achieve greater heating capacity. Refer to the pool size chart below for guidance.

4. Operating Instructions

Once installed, the DORTALA Solar Pool Heater operates automatically with your pool pump. Ensure your pump is running during daylight hours to circulate water through the heater. The transparent dome cover and black coil system will absorb solar radiation, transferring heat directly to the circulating pool water. This process typically raises the pool water temperature by 5.4 to 7.2℉ (3-4℃) under optimal sunny conditions.

For best results, position the heater to face the sun directly. Adjust the foldable legs as the sun's position changes throughout the day or season to maximize heat absorption.

5. Care and Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and efficiency of your solar pool heater, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Periodically clean the transparent dome cover to ensure maximum sunlight penetration. Use a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface. The product care instructions specify 'Hand Wash Only'.
• Winterization: Before freezing temperatures arrive, disconnect the solar heater from your pool system. Drain all water from the unit to prevent ice damage. Store the unit in a dry, protected area.
• Inspection: Regularly inspect hoses and connections for any signs of wear, leaks, or damage. Replace worn components as needed.

• Insufficient Heating:
