Setup

1. Powering On

1. Connect one power adapter to the Baby Camera and plug it into a power outlet.
2. Connect the second power adapter to the 5-inch Parent Unit and plug it into a power outlet.
3. Press and hold the Power button on the Parent Unit to turn it on.

2. Camera Placement

Place the Baby Camera on a flat surface, such as a dresser or shelf, ensuring a clear view of the monitoring area. The camera can also be wall-mounted for optimal positioning. Ensure the camera is placed at a safe distance from the baby's reach.

3. Dual Mode Operation (Wi-Fi / No Wi-Fi)

The Simyke BME50P offers flexible connectivity:

• No Wi-Fi Mode: For maximum privacy and security, toggle the Wi-Fi switch on the Baby Camera to the "OFF" position. The Parent Unit will directly connect to the camera via a secure 2.4GHz frequency, providing a local, private connection.
• Wi-Fi Mode: To enable remote viewing and advanced features via the mobile app, toggle the Wi-Fi switch on the Baby Camera to the "ON" position.

4. Mobile App Download (for Wi-Fi Mode)

If you choose to use the Wi-Fi mode, download the Simyke app for iOS or Android devices. Scan the QR code in the user manual or search for "Simyke" in your device's app store.

Operating Instructions

1. Parent Unit (Monitor) Controls

The 5-inch IPS display screen features intuitive buttons for easy navigation and control:

• Menu Button: Access settings and features.
• Volume Buttons: Adjust audio output.
• Brightness Buttons: Control screen brightness.
• PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) Controls: Navigate the camera view.
• Talk Button: Activate two-way audio.
• Power Button: Turn the unit on/off or toggle screen display.

2. Camera Unit Features

• Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ): Control the camera remotely from the Parent Unit or app. Pan 355° horizontally and tilt 90° vertically to cover the entire room. The camera also features 4x digital zoom.
• Night Vision: Automatic infrared night vision provides a clear black-and-white view in low-light or dark conditions without disturbing your baby.
• Two-Way Talk: Press and hold the Talk button on the Parent Unit or use the app to speak to your baby.
• Lullabies: Choose from 5 pre-recorded lullabies to soothe your baby. Play them directly from the camera via the Parent Unit or app.
• VOX/ECO Mode: In this power-saving mode, the Parent Unit screen turns off when no sound is detected. It automatically activates and displays video when sound or movement is detected in the baby's room.
• Temperature Monitoring: Real-time temperature of the baby's room is displayed on the Parent Unit and app. Alerts can be set for high or low temperature deviations.
• Feeding Reminders: Set interval timers on the Parent Unit to help maintain your baby's feeding schedule.

• Poor Signal/Interference: Move the parent unit closer to the camera. Avoid placing the units near other electronic devices that may cause interference (e.g., microwaves, Wi-Fi routers).
• Screen Not Turning On in VOX Mode: Adjust the VOX sensitivity settings to a higher level.
• Camera Not Responding to PTZ Controls: Ensure the camera is properly paired and the signal strength is adequate.
