Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your sound bar, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

No Sound

  • Check Power: Ensure the sound bar is powered on and the power adapter is securely connected.

  • TV Audio Settings: Ensure your TV's audio output is set to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) if using Optical or ARC.
  • Volume Level: Increase the volume on both the sound bar and your TV/device. Ensure neither is muted.

Distorted Sound

  • Volume Level: Reduce the volume to prevent distortion.
  • Cable Quality: Try using a different audio cable to rule out a faulty cable.
  • Source Quality: Check if the audio source itself is distorted.

Remote Control Not Responding

  • Batteries: Replace the batteries in the remote control (2x AAA).
  • Line of Sight: Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the sound bar's sensor.
  • Distance: Operate the remote within its effective range.

Bluetooth Pairing Issues

  • Pairing Mode: Ensure the sound bar is in Bluetooth pairing mode (LED flashing).
  • Device Proximity: Keep your Bluetooth device close to the sound bar during pairing.
  • Forget Device: On your device, forget any previously paired 'KY-8000' connections and try pairing again.
