1. Safety Information

• Keep the camera away from water and other liquids. This product is not waterproof.

The Imou Ranger 2C Pro 2K is an indoor security camera designed for comprehensive home surveillance. It features 2K (3MP) resolution, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and a 360° panoramic view.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Powering On the Camera

1. Connect the power cable to the camera's power port.
2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The camera will power on and its indicator light will flash.

4.2 App Installation and Account Creation

1. Download the Imou Life app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Open the app and create an account or log in if you already have one.

4.3 Adding the Camera to the App

1. In the Imou Life app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
2. Scan the QR code located on the bottom of the camera.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz or 5GHz) during setup.
4. Once connected, the camera's indicator light will turn solid green.

4.4 Mounting Options

The camera can be installed flat on a table, mounted on a wall, or on the ceiling.

• Tabletop Installation: Place the camera on a stable, flat surface.
• Wall/Ceiling Installation: Use the provided mounting plate and screws. Refer to the installation position map for drilling guidance. Ensure the camera is securely fastened.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and Playback

Access live video feed and recorded footage through the Imou Life app. You can pan and tilt the camera remotely using the controls in the app.

5.2 Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera features intelligent detection for people and pets. When motion is detected, the camera can send instant notifications to your smartphone.

• Configure Detection Zones: In the app settings, you can define specific areas for motion detection to reduce irrelevant alerts.
• Sensitivity Adjustment: Adjust the detection sensitivity to suit your environment.

5.3 Intelligent Tracking

Enable intelligent tracking in the app to have the camera automatically follow detected movement within its field of view.

5.4 Two-Way Audio and One-Click Call

Use the two-way audio feature to speak through the camera and listen to its surroundings. The one-click call button on the camera allows a person near the camera to initiate a call to your smartphone.

5.5 Privacy Mode

Activate privacy mode via the Imou Life app. This physically rotates the camera lens to hide it, ensuring privacy when needed.

5.6 Storage Options

The camera supports multiple storage methods:

• Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card (up to 512GB, not included) into the designated slot for local storage. To access the Micro SD card slot, manually rotate the camera lens upwards.
• Imou Cloud Storage: Subscribe to Imou Cloud for secure online storage of your recordings.
• Network Video Recorder (NVR): Connect the camera to a compatible NVR for continuous recording.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Firmware Updates: Regularly check for and install firmware updates through the Imou Life app to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Storage Management: If using a Micro SD card, periodically review and manage stored footage. Format the card as needed.
