3. Initial Setup
3.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case
Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and charging case. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source. The indicator light on the case will show charging status. The case also supports wireless charging.

3.2 Pairing with Your Device
1. Open the charging case lid. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a pulsing white light on the case.
2. On your smartphone or device, enable Bluetooth.
3. In the Bluetooth settings, select "viaim RecDot" from the list of available devices to connect.
4. Once connected, the pulsing white light will turn off.
3.3 Installing the VIAIM App
For full functionality, download the "viaim-Transcribe Voice to Text" app from your device's app store (available on Android and iOS). The app allows you to manage settings, view transcriptions, and utilize AI features.

4. Earbud Controls
The RecDot earbuds feature intuitive touch-sensitive stems for easy control of audio playback, calls, and recording functions.
- Pinch Once: Play/Pause audio.
- Pinch Twice: Next song / Toggle Noise Control (ANC/Transparency/Off).
- Pinch Three Times: Previous song.
- Long Press: Start/Stop recording.
- Slide Up/Down on Stem: Increase/Decrease volume.

5.1 FlashRecord
Activate instant recording by tapping the red dot on the charging case. This feature allows you to capture audio quickly without needing your phone or the app. Recordings are saved directly to the earbuds' built-in storage.
5.2 Call, Audio/Video, and Live Recording
Through the VIAIM app, you can initiate different recording types:
- Call Recording: Transcribe real-time conversations during system calls or VoIP calls.

7.2 Eartip Fit Test

10. Troubleshooting

- Recording issues: Ensure the earbuds are connected to the app and have sufficient battery. Check storage space for FlashRecord.
- App not responding: Close and reopen the VIAIM app. Ensure your device's operating system is up to date.
