3. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your Baseus Nomos Air Docking Station:
- Connect Power (Optional but Recommended): If you wish to charge your laptop via the docking station, connect a compatible USB-C Power Delivery (PD) adapter (not included) to the USB-C PD input port on the docking station. The docking station supports up to 100W power input.
- Connect to Host Device: Use the integrated USB-C cable from the docking station to connect it to a full-featured USB-C port on your laptop, tablet, or compatible device.
- Connect External Displays: Connect your HDMI monitors to the HDMI output ports on the docking station. Ensure your monitors are powered on and set to the correct input source.
- Connect Peripherals: Plug in your USB devices (keyboard, mouse, external drives, etc.) into the available USB-A or USB-C data ports. Insert SD or TF cards into their respective slots if needed.
- Connect to Network: For a stable wired internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your router or modem to the Gigabit Ethernet port on the docking station.

Your operating system should automatically detect and configure the connected devices. If not, ensure your device's drivers are up to date.
4. Operating Instructions
Dual 4K Display Usage:
The docking station supports dual 4K displays at 60Hz, allowing for an extended or mirrored desktop experience. Configure your display settings through your operating system's display preferences.
- Windows/Chrome OS: Supports extended desktop mode across multiple monitors.
- macOS: Dual monitors will display the same content (mirror mode) due to macOS limitations with DisplayLink technology.

Intelligent Power Saving Mode:
This mode is designed to conserve power when you are on the go. To activate or deactivate:
- Press the top button on the docking station for 2 seconds.
- When activated, the docking station automatically disconnects all ports except the PD (Power Delivery) port, ensuring your laptop continues to charge while minimizing power consumption from other connected devices.

Handy Screen-Lock Button:
For quick privacy or security, the docking station features a dedicated screen-lock button:

High-Speed Data Transfer:
Utilize the 10Gbps USB-C and USB-A 3.0 ports for rapid file transfers. This significantly reduces transfer times for large files, improving workflow efficiency.
- Transfer a 20GB file in approximately 20 seconds using 10Gbps ports.
- Transfer a 20GB file in approximately 50 seconds using 5Gbps ports.

5. Maintenance and Care

No Display Output:
- Check Connections: Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected to both the docking station and the monitors.
- Monitor Input: Verify that your monitors are set to the correct HDMI input source.
- Laptop Settings: Check your laptop's display settings (e.g., Windows Display Settings, macOS System Settings > Displays) to ensure external monitors are detected and configured correctly (extend, mirror).
- Driver Update: Ensure your laptop's graphics drivers are up to date.
- Compatibility: Confirm your laptop's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode).
No Power Delivery to Laptop:
- Power Adapter: Ensure a compatible USB-C PD power adapter (100W recommended) is connected to the docking station's PD input port.
- Cable: Verify the USB-C cable connecting the docking station to your laptop is capable of power delivery.
- Power Saving Mode: Check if the Intelligent Power Saving Mode is active (only PD port is active). Deactivate it if you need other ports to function.
USB Devices Not Recognized or Slow Data Transfer:
- Reconnect: Disconnect and reconnect the USB device.
- Different Port: Try connecting the device to a different USB port on the docking station.
- Power: Ensure the docking station is receiving sufficient power, especially if connecting multiple power-hungry USB devices.

No Internet Connection via Ethernet:
