Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Richmat HJH103 Adjustable Bed Remote. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the remote to ensure proper function and longevity.
Setup
1. Battery Installation
The HJH103 remote requires two (2) AA batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
- Insert two AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Pairing Instructions
The remote does not come pre-paired. You must pair it with your adjustable bed's control box. The general pairing method for Richmat remotes is as follows:
- Ensure your adjustable bed is plugged into a power source.
- Locate the pairing button on the side of your bed's control box. This button may be labeled "Pair," "Sync," or have a similar indicator.
- On the HJH103 remote, simultaneously press and hold any combination of the "Head Up" or "Head Down" buttons AND "Foot Up" or "Foot Down" buttons.
- While continuing to hold the remote buttons, press and hold the pairing button on the side of the control box.
- Hold both sets of buttons until the bed responds or an indicator light on the control box or remote confirms successful pairing.
Note: Specific pairing instructions may vary slightly depending on your adjustable bed model. Refer to your bed's original user manual for precise pairing procedures if these general steps are unsuccessful.
Operating the Remote
The HJH103 remote features intuitive buttons for controlling your adjustable bed. Below is a description of each button's function:

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops functioning. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the "Setup" section.
Cleaning
To clean the remote, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the remote in water.
