- Insert the WSJ700 controller into the opening from the front.
- Secure the controller using the provided mounting clips from the rear of the panel.
Wiring:
Refer to the wiring diagram below for correct connections. Incorrect wiring can damage the device or cause hazards.

Figure 4: Internal wiring diagram of the WSJ700 Temperature Controller. It shows terminals for power supply (AC100-240V), output (OUT), time output, and sensor inputs (TK, TC). Specific terminals are numbered 1 through 11.

Figure 5: Rear view of the WSJ700 Temperature Controller, illustrating the external wiring terminals. Labels indicate connections for AC100-240V (terminals 1, 2), OUT (terminals 3, 4), and Time Output (terminals 5, 6).
- Power Supply (AC100-240V): Connect your main power supply to terminals 1 and 2. Ensure the voltage is within the specified range.
- Output (OUT): Connect your controlled device (e.g., heater, fan) to terminals 3 and 4. This is the 30A relay output.
- Time Output: Connect any external device requiring time-based control to terminals 5 and 6.
- Sensor Input (TK/TC): Connect your temperature sensor (thermocouple or RTD, depending on model/configuration) to terminals 7-8 (TK) or 9-11 (TC). Refer to your sensor's documentation for correct polarity and type.
Warning: Double-check all wiring connections before applying power to prevent damage or injury.
Operating Instructions
The WSJ700 offers various operating modes for temperature control, timing, and counting. Use the MODE, Up, and Down keys to navigate and adjust settings.
Basic Operation:
- Power On: After correct wiring, apply power. The display will light up, showing the current temperature or default operating mode.
- Viewing Current Status: The main display typically shows the measured temperature. In timer or counter modes, it will show the current time or count.
Mode Selection and Setting Parameters:
- Enter Setting Mode: Press and hold the MODE button for a few seconds until the display changes to show a parameter code (e.g., "P1", "P2").
- Navigate Parameters: Use the Up (⌃) and Down (⌄) keys to scroll through different parameter codes.
- Adjust Parameter Value: Once the desired parameter code is displayed, press the MODE button briefly to enter its value adjustment. Use the Up (⌃) and Down (⌄) keys to change the value.
- Save Setting: Press the MODE button again to confirm and save the new value.
- Exit Setting Mode: Press and hold the MODE button for a few seconds, or wait for the device to automatically exit after a period of inactivity.
Temperature Control Mode:
In temperature control mode, you can set a target temperature (setpoint) and hysteresis (temperature difference for switching).
- Setting Setpoint (SP): Navigate to the setpoint parameter (e.g., "SP"). Adjust the value using the Up/Down keys.
- Setting Hysteresis (HYS): Navigate to the hysteresis parameter (e.g., "HYS"). Adjust the value. This determines the temperature range around the setpoint before the relay switches.
- The relay will activate/deactivate to maintain the temperature within the set range.
Timer Mode:
The WSJ700 can function as a timer for various applications.
- Selecting Timer Function: Navigate to the timer mode parameter (e.g., "TMR").
- Setting Time Duration: Adjust the desired time (e.g., in minutes or seconds) using the Up/Down keys.
- Start/Stop Timer: The timer typically starts upon activation of a trigger or power-on, and the output relay will operate according to the timer's configuration (e.g., turn on for X duration, then off).
Counter Mode:
The device can count external pulses or events.
- Selecting Counter Function: Navigate to the counter mode parameter (e.g., "CNT").
- Setting Target Count: Adjust the desired target count.
- Reset Counter: Use the RESET button to clear the current count.
- When the target count is reached, the output relay will activate/deactivate as configured.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable operation of your WSJ700 Temperature Controller.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the display and panel with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Regularly check wiring connections for looseness or signs of damage. Ensure the device is free from dust accumulation.
- Environment: Maintain the operating environment within specified temperature and humidity ranges.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your WSJ700, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | No power supply; incorrect wiring; blown fuse. | Check power connections (terminals 1 & 2). Verify input voltage. Inspect internal fuse if accessible (consult qualified personnel). |
| Display shows "Err" or abnormal readings. | Sensor not connected; faulty sensor; incorrect sensor type selected. | Check sensor wiring (terminals 7-11). Replace sensor if faulty. Ensure correct sensor type is configured in settings. |
| Output relay not switching. | Incorrect setpoint/hysteresis; output mode not configured; faulty relay. | Verify setpoint and hysteresis settings. Check output mode configuration. Test the relay (consult qualified personnel). |
| Timer/Counter not functioning. | Incorrect mode selection; trigger not detected; incorrect settings. | Ensure the correct timer/counter mode is selected. Verify trigger input. Check time duration or target count settings. |
