2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, please observe the following:

• Always unplug the air purifier before moving, cleaning, or replacing the filter.
• Do not operate the unit if the power cord or plug is damaged.
• Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not use the air purifier in wet or damp environments, such as bathrooms.
• Do not insert any objects into the air inlets or outlets.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Use only Afloia original replacement filters.

4. Product Overview

The Afloia Pluto Air Purifier features a cylindrical design for 360-degree air intake and output. Key components include:

• Control Panel: Located on the top, with touch-sensitive buttons for power, fan speed, sleep mode, and timer.
• Air Outlet: Top grille for purified air release.
• Air Inlet: Perforated lower section for air intake.
• Filter Compartment: Located at the bottom, housing the 4-in-1 filter.
• Filter Replacement Indicator: An LED on the control panel that illuminates when filter replacement is needed.

5. Setup

1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
2. Remove Filter Packaging: Before first use, twist the base of the unit counter-clockwise to open the filter compartment. Remove the pre-installed 4-in-1 filter and discard any plastic packaging. Reinsert the filter and twist the base clockwise to secure it.
3. Placement: Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 15 inches (38 cm) of clearance on all sides for optimal air circulation. Avoid placing it near heat sources, direct sunlight, or areas with excessive moisture.
4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the air purifier and then into a standard electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the control panel buttons:

• Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Fan Speed Button (✇): Press repeatedly to cycle through fan speeds (Low, Medium, High).
• Sleep Mode Button (☾): Press to activate Sleep Mode. In this mode, the fan operates at its lowest speed (approx. 23 dB) and the display lights dim for undisturbed rest. Press again to exit Sleep Mode.
• Timer Button (🕒): Press repeatedly to set the operating timer for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. The unit will automatically turn off when the set time expires.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Washable Pre-Filter

The outer mesh pre-filter is washable and should be cleaned regularly to maintain optimal performance. This extends the lifespan of the main filter.

1. Unplug the air purifier.
2. Twist the base counter-clockwise to open the filter compartment.
3. Remove the 4-in-1 filter assembly.
4. Carefully detach the outer mesh pre-filter.
5. Rinse the pre-filter under running water until clean.
6. Allow the pre-filter to air dry completely before reattaching it to the main filter.
7. Reinsert the filter assembly and secure the base.

7.2 Replacing the 4-in-1 Filter

The red LED filter indicator on the control panel will illuminate when it's time to replace the main 4-in-1 filter. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the filter every 4-6 months, depending on local air quality and usage.

1. When the filter indicator light activates, unplug the air purifier.
2. Twist the base counter-clockwise to open the filter compartment and remove the used filter.
3. Install the new Afloia 4-in-1 filter (ensure plastic packaging is removed).
4. Secure the base by twisting it clockwise.
5. Plug in the air purifier and power it on.
6. To reset the filter indicator, press and hold the Power button for 3-5 seconds until the light turns off.
