2. Safety Information

To prevent injury to the user or other people and property damage, the following instructions must be followed. Incorrect operation due to ignoring instructions may cause harm or damage.

  • Power Supply: Ensure the power outlet matches the appliance's voltage and frequency. Do not overload power outlets.
  • Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain adequate clearance around the unit for proper airflow.
  • Refrigerant: This unit uses R290 refrigerant. Do not puncture the refrigerant circuit. Only qualified personnel should service the unit.
  • Water Tank: Do not overfill the water tank. Regularly empty the water tank to prevent overflow and mold growth.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation. The child lock feature can prevent accidental changes to settings.
  • Cleaning: Always unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

5. Setup

Setting up your CIARRA Mobile Air Conditioner is quick and easy:

  1. Unpack and Stabilize: Remove the unit from its packaging. Place it upright on a flat, stable surface. Allow the unit to stand for 2 to 3 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This ensures the refrigerant settles properly after transit.
  2. Attach Wheels: If not pre-attached, securely fasten the four easy-glide wheels to the bottom of the unit.
  3. Add Water: Open the water tank compartment and fill it with clean water. Ensure the water level does not exceed the 'MAX' indicator.
  4. Positioning: Place the unit in the desired room. Thanks to its compact size and wheels, it can be easily moved to different locations such as the kitchen, bedroom, or office. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper air circulation.
  5. Power On: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.

6. Operating Instructions

Control your CIARRA Mobile Air Conditioner using the LED touchscreen on the unit or the provided remote control.

Operating Modes

  • Cooling Mode: Provides powerful cooling for your space.
  • Dehumidifying Mode: Reduces humidity levels, ideal for damp environments.

  • Swing Function: Activate the automatic oscillation feature for wider air distribution.
  • Child Lock: Engage the child lock to prevent accidental changes to settings, suitable for households with children or seniors.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.

Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned regularly (every two weeks or more often depending on usage) to maintain efficiency.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Locate and remove the air filter from the back or side of the unit.
  3. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner to remove dust, or wash it gently with warm water and mild detergent.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

Draining the Water Tank

The unit collects water during cooling and dehumidifying operations. The 3-liter tank provides extended operation, but it will need to be drained periodically.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Position the external water tray or a suitable container under the drain outlet.
  3. Remove the drain plug and allow the water to flow out completely.
  4. Once drained, securely replace the drain plug.

Storage

If the unit will not be used for an extended period:

  • Drain all water from the tank.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Store the unit in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
