  • HDMI ARC: For connecting to a TV with an HDMI ARC port. Allows TV remote control of soundbar volume.
  • OPTICAL: For connecting to devices with an optical audio output.
  • AUX IN: For connecting to devices with a 3.5mm audio output.

Setup

Connecting to Your TV or Audio Source

Before connecting, ensure both the soundbar and your audio source (TV, PC, etc.) are powered off.

1. HDMI ARC Connection (Recommended)

  1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar.
  3. Ensure your TV's HDMI ARC function is enabled in its audio settings.

2. Optical Connection

  1. Connect the supplied optical cable to the OPTICAL port on the soundbar.
  2. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical audio output port on your TV or audio source.

3. AUX Connection

  1. Connect the supplied AUX cable to the AUX IN port on the soundbar.
  2. Connect the other end of the AUX cable to the 3.5mm audio output (headphone jack) on your TV, PC, or other audio source.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Connect the soundbar to a power outlet using the supplied power cable. Press the Power button on the soundbar or the remote control to turn it on or off.

Source Selection

Press the 'Input' button on the remote control or the 'Mode' button on the soundbar to cycle through the available input sources: HDMI ARC, Optical, AUX, and Bluetooth.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Switch the soundbar to Bluetooth mode. The LED indicator will flash.
  2. On your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone), search for 'Oakcastle SB40' in the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Select 'Oakcastle SB40' to pair. Once connected, the LED indicator will stop flashing.
  4. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the soundbar.

Using the Remote Control

The included remote control provides full functionality for your soundbar.

  • Power: Turn the soundbar on or off.
  • Input: Select the audio source (HDMI ARC, Optical, AUX, Bluetooth).
  • Volume +/-: Adjust the main volume level.
  • Bass +/-: Adjust the bass level.
  • Mute: Mute or unmute the sound.
  • EQ Modes (Music, Movie, Dialog, Night, 3D): Select preset equalizer settings for different audio experiences.

Wall Mounting

The Oakcastle SB40 Soundbar can be wall-mounted using the included kit. Ensure the wall material is suitable for mounting and can support the weight of the soundbar.

  1. Use the mounting template to mark the positions for drilling on the wall.
  2. Drill two holes at the marked positions. Insert the wall plugs into the holes.
  3. Attach the two wall mount brackets to the soundbar using the provided screws.
  4. Align the soundbar's brackets with the wall plugs and secure it to the wall.
