2. Setup and Initial Use
2.1 Initial Opening (Factory Default Code)
- Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind the keypad or a cover.
- Insert one of the backup keys and turn it to unlock.
- Rotate the handle to open the safe door.
- Alternatively, for the first opening, use the factory default code: 1234#. Input the code on the keypad and turn the handle.
2.2 Setting a New Personal Code
It is highly recommended to change the factory default code immediately after the first opening.
- With the safe door open, locate and press the red reset button on the inside of the door. You will hear a beep.
- On the keypad, enter your desired new personal code (3-8 digits).
- Press the # key to confirm.
- Re-enter the same new personal code (3-8 digits).
- Press the # key again to confirm. The safe will indicate successful programming.

2.3 Setting a New Fingerprint
The safe's default fingerprint memory is empty. You cannot open it with any fingerprint until one is registered.
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button on the inside of the door. You will hear a beep.
- Place your desired finger on the fingerprint scanner.
- Lift and place your finger on the scanner two more times (total of three times) until the safe indicates successful programming.
Note: The safe can store up to 29 fingerprints.

3. Operating the Safe
3.1 Opening the Safe
- Using Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the scanner. Once recognized, turn the handle to open.
- Using Personal Code: Enter your 3-8 digit personal code followed by the # key. Once confirmed, turn the handle to open.
- Using Emergency Key: Insert the backup key into the hidden keyhole and turn it while rotating the handle.
- Using Emergency Battery Box: If batteries are depleted, connect the emergency battery box to the external power port, then use your personal code or fingerprint.
3.2 Closing and Locking the Safe
To lock the safe, simply close the door and turn the handle counter-clockwise until it is securely latched. The safe will automatically lock.
3.3 Anti-Theft Dual Alarm System
The safe is equipped with a dual alarm system that activates under specific conditions:
- Incorrect Password Attempts: If six consecutive incorrect password attempts are made, the alarm will sound.
- Vibration Alarm: If the safe detects violent vibrations or unauthorized movement, the alarm will activate.
The alarm emits a sound exceeding 70 decibels. To silence the alarm, open the safe using a valid personal code, fingerprint, or emergency key.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
The safe requires batteries for its electronic functions. When the battery power is low, the indicator light may flash or the keypad may not respond. Replace all batteries with new ones of the specified type (usually AA batteries, refer to the battery compartment for exact type and quantity).
- Open the safe door.
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
- Remove the old batteries and insert new ones, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
If the batteries are completely dead and you cannot open the safe, use the emergency battery box or backup keys.
4.2 Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components. For the fingerprint scanner and keypad, use a dry, lint-free cloth.
