4. Setup and Installation
The LEDIARY Caged Ceiling Fan is designed for easy installation. Please follow the detailed instructions provided in the included installation manual for a safe and proper setup.
4.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
- Ensure all parts listed in Section 2 are present.
- Turn off power at the circuit breaker before starting.
- Gather necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, ladder, etc.).
4.2 Mounting the Fan
The fan comes with two down rods to accommodate different ceiling heights. Choose the appropriate length for your installation. Secure the mounting bracket to a ceiling joist or an outlet box rated for fan support. Connect the wiring as per the wiring diagram in the detailed manual.
4.3 Assembling the Fan Unit
Attach the fan blades and light kit to the motor housing. Install the E26 base bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
5. Operating Instructions
Your LEDIARY ceiling fan is operated using the included remote control. Ensure the remote has working batteries (Zinc Carbon, included).
5.1 Remote Control Functions
- ON/OFF: Turns the fan and light on or off.
- Fan Speed (1-6): Adjusts the fan speed from low (1) to high (6).
- Timing (1H, 2H, 4H, 8H): Sets the fan to turn off automatically after 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours.
- Reversible Function (F/R): Changes the direction of the fan blades for summer (downward airflow) or winter (upward airflow) modes.
- Light Control: Toggles the light on/off. The remote is designed to eliminate beeping sounds upon button press.
Note: If the main power is turned off and then back on, the fan will typically resume with the lights on and the fan off, not saving previous settings.
