2. Safety Information

To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, and injury, please observe the following safety precautions:

3.1 newpad KJ-460 Air Purifier

The KJ-460 is designed for large rooms and can be wall-mounted or placed on a desk or floor. It features a concise touch panel for control and an intelligent auto mode with an Air Quality Index (AQI) display.

3.2 newpad KJ-520 Air Purifier

The KJ-520 is a whole-house air purifier, designed to provide comprehensive air purification for larger living spaces.

3.3 newpad KJ-351H-300L Air Purifier

The KJ-351H-300L (referred to as KJ-300L) is ideal for bedrooms, featuring a unique air purifier and desk lamp combo. It also includes advanced sleep mode options.

3.4 Shared Features

• 3-Stage Filtration: All models utilize a 3-stage filtration system within a durable carbon steel protective shell. This includes a pre-filter for large particles, an H13 HEPA filter capturing 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns (dust, smoke, wildfire smog, pet dander), and an activated carbon filter for odor removal (pets, cooking smells).
• High-Sensitive Sensor & LCD: Equipped with a high-sensitive sensor, the units display real-time air quality changes on an LCD, allowing for manual adjustments.
• Automatic Mode: In auto mode, the fan speed (Low/Medium/High) adjusts automatically based on sensor feedback.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Unboxing

1. Carefully remove the air purifiers and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Remove any protective films or packaging materials from the units.
3. Ensure all filters are properly installed inside the units before first use. Refer to the filter replacement section for details.

4.2 Placement

• KJ-460: This model can be wall-mounted or placed on a flat, stable surface such as a desk or floor. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for optimal airflow.
• KJ-520: Position the KJ-520 in a central location within your whole-house area to maximize its coverage.
• KJ-300L: Place the KJ-300L on a bedside table or desk in your bedroom. Ensure the lamp function is not obstructed.
• Avoid placing units near heat sources, direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel (KJ-460 Example)

• Power Button: Press to turn the unit On/Off.
• Mode Button: Cycle through Auto, Manual, and Sleep modes.
• Fan Speed Button: Adjust fan speed (Low, Medium, High) in Manual mode. Hold for 3 seconds to reset filter indicator.
• Timer Button: Set operation timer (e.g., 1-12 hours).
• Child Lock: Hold the designated button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate.
• WiFi Connection: Follow instructions in the app for WiFi setup.
• AQI Display: Shows real-time Air Quality Index.
• Filter Replacement Indicator: Illuminates when filter replacement is needed.

5.2 Intelligent Auto Mode & AQI Display

The air purifiers are equipped with sensors that detect air quality. In Auto Mode, the fan speed automatically adjusts based on the detected air quality levels.

5.3 KJ-300L Desk Lamp & Sleep Mode

The KJ-300L features an integrated desk lamp that can operate independently of the air purification function. It also offers advanced sleep mode settings.

• Lamp Control: Use the dedicated button on the unit or remote to turn the lamp on/off and adjust brightness (e.g., 3.3W, 6.5W, 8.6W).
• Sleep Mode Pro+: Customize your bedtime experience with various scenarios, adjusting light intensity (Light, Weak Light, Totally Dark) and sound levels (Whisper Quiet, White Noise).

6. Maintenance

6.1 Filter Replacement

The filter replacement indicator will illuminate when it's time to replace the filter. The frequency of replacement depends on usage and air quality.

1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
2. Locate the filter compartment (refer to your specific model's diagram).
3. Remove the old filter. Dispose of it properly.
4. Insert the new 3-stage filter, ensuring it is correctly seated.
5. Close the filter compartment cover.
6. Plug in the air purifier.
7. Reset the filter replacement indicator by holding the Fan Speed/Filter Reset button for 3 seconds (for KJ-460, similar process for other models).

6.2 Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
• Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean the pre-filter (if removable and washable) and air inlets/outlets.
