Assembly Instructions

Operating Instructions
Using the Drop Leaf Countertop
- To extend the countertop, gently lift the drop leaf section.
- Pull out the support brackets located underneath the drop leaf until they lock into place.
- Ensure the drop leaf is stable before placing items on it.
- To retract, push the release mechanism on the support brackets and carefully lower the drop leaf.
Accessing Storage Drawers and Cabinets
- The two top drawers can be pulled open using the zinc alloy handles for storing utensils or smaller items.
- The main cabinet doors open to reveal adjustable shelves for pots, pans, or dry goods.
- The door racks and spice racks provide additional storage for condiments and smaller bottles.
Using the Tilt-Out Trash Can Cabinet
- Pull the handle on the tilt-out door to open the cabinet.
- Place a 7-gallon trash bin (not included) inside the designated compartment.
- Push the door back until the magnetic catches secure it closed.
Moving the Kitchen Island
- To move the island, ensure the two lockable wheels are disengaged.
- Gently push the island to its desired location.
- To secure the island, engage the locking mechanism on the two wheels.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
- Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining, especially on the wooden countertop.
- Hardware: Periodically check and tighten all screws and fasteners to ensure stability.
- Countertop Care: For the wooden countertop, consider applying a food-safe mineral oil regularly to maintain its appearance and protect it from moisture.
Troubleshooting
- Wobbly Island: Ensure all screws are tightened. Check that the wheels are properly installed and locked when stationary.
- Drawers Sticking: Check the drawer slides for any obstructions. Ensure the drawer is properly aligned on its tracks.
- Doors Not Closing Properly: Verify that the magnetic catches are aligned and functioning. Check for any items obstructing the door's path. The built-in wheel should prevent sticking.
- Drop Leaf Instability: Ensure the support brackets are fully extended and locked into place.
