4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Remove all packing materials, tapes, and protective films.
4.2 Placement
Place the ice maker on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 10 cm clearance on all sides). Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in to allow the refrigerant to settle.
4.3 Water Connection
Connect the water inlet hose to a potable water supply. Install the provided water filter in line with the water supply. Connect the drain hose to the machine's drain outlet and ensure it leads to a suitable drain (gravity drainage is required). Make sure the drain pipe is positioned lower than the machine's drain outlet.

4.4 Power Connection
Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet with the correct voltage (115 Volts). Do not use extension cords or adapters.
4.5 Initial Cleaning
Before making the first batch of ice, it is recommended to clean the machine. Press the "CLEAN" button for more than 5 seconds to enter the "Cleaning Program". Run this cycle twice to ensure the internal components are clean.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Making Ice
After setup and initial cleaning, press the "POWER" button to start the ice making process. The machine will automatically produce ice cubes. A batch of 36 clear ice cubes is typically ready in 8-12 minutes.
5.2 Adjusting Ice Thickness
The thickness of the ice cubes can be adjusted to suit different needs. Use the "TIME UP" and "TIME DOWN" buttons on the control panel to increase or decrease the ice making time. Longer ice making time results in thicker ice cubes.

Figure 5.1: Ice thickness adjustment guide. Thin ice (approx. 10 mins), Medium ice (approx. 15 mins), Thick ice (approx. 20 mins).
5.3 Timer Function
The 24-hour timer function allows you to set a specific time for the ice maker to start or stop operation. Press the "RESERVATION" button and use the "TIME UP/DOWN" buttons to set the desired time.
5.4 Ice Full / Water Shortage Indicators
The control panel will display indicators for "Ice Full" when the ice storage bin is full, and "Water Shortage" when the water level is too low. The machine will pause operation until the condition is resolved.
6. Care and Maintenance
6.1 Regular Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining the performance and hygiene of your ice maker. It is recommended to clean the machine according to its usage frequency. Wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the ice storage bin and water tank regularly.
