Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Orbit 62061N timer requires two (2) AA alkaline batteries (not included). Ensure you use new alkaline batteries for optimal performance and longevity. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries (e.g., alkaline with carbon-zinc or rechargeable).

1. Setting the Clock

c. How Often (Watering Frequency)
- Turn the dial to HOW OFTEN.
- Use the + and - buttons to select the watering frequency. Options include every 6 hours, every 12 hours, or once every 1 to 7 days.

3. Auto Mode
After setting your desired watering program, turn the dial to AUTO. The timer will now operate according to your programmed schedule.
4. Manual Watering
To manually water without interrupting your programmed schedule:
- Turn the dial to MANUAL.
- Use the + and - buttons to set the desired manual watering duration.
- The timer will begin watering immediately for the set duration. Once complete, it will return to your programmed schedule.
5. Rain Delay
The rain delay feature allows you to pause your watering schedule for a set period, conserving water after rainfall.
- While the dial is in the AUTO position, press and hold the + button for 3 seconds.
- The display will show '24h', indicating a 24-hour rain delay.
- Press the + button again to cycle through 48-hour and 72-hour delay options.
- The timer will automatically resume its programmed schedule after the selected delay period.
- To cancel a rain delay, press and hold the + button until the display returns to the current time.
