4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the 2 lithium batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2 Initial Placement
Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid placing it on carpets, rugs, or uneven flooring, as this can affect the accuracy of measurements.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Weight Measurement
- Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface.
- Step onto the scale with both feet, standing still and centered. The scale will automatically turn on due to "Step-On" Technology.
- Your weight will be displayed on the 3" x 1.9" blue backlit LCD screen.
- Step off the scale. The display will hold the reading for a few seconds before turning off automatically.

5.2 Body Composition Measurement (User Profile Setup)
To utilize the body composition features (body fat, body water, muscle mass), you must set up a user profile. The scale can store up to 8 user profiles.
- Press the "SET" button to enter user setup mode.
- Use the "UP" or "DOWN" arrow buttons to select a user number (P1-P8). Press "SET" to confirm.
- Enter your gender (Male/Female) using the arrow buttons and confirm with "SET".
- Enter your height using the arrow buttons and confirm with "SET".
- Enter your age using the arrow buttons and confirm with "SET".
- Select "Normal" or "Athlete" mode. Athlete mode is for individuals who engage in intense physical activity (e.g., 10+ hours/week) and have a resting heart rate of approximately 60 beats per minute or less. Confirm with "SET".
- Once your profile is set, step onto the scale. The scale will display your weight, then cycle through body fat percentage, body water percentage, and muscle mass.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Clean the scale with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
6.2 Storage
Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. If the scale will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
