3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for a safe and efficient setup:

  1. Step 1: Unpack and Partially Open the Frame

Remove the folded frame from the roller bag. With two people, gently pull the legs of the frame outwards to partially expand it, forming a square base. Do not fully extend the legs yet.

  2. Step 2: Attach the Canopy Fabric

Unfold the main canopy fabric and place it over the partially opened frame. Secure the corners of the canopy to the frame's corner posts using the attached hook-and-loop fasteners. Ensure the top vent canopy is also correctly positioned and secured.

  3. Step 3: Fully Extend and Lock the Frame

From underneath the canopy, push the central knob upwards until it clicks into place, locking all four corners of the frame. This mechanism secures the trusses. Then, extend each leg downwards until it locks into its lowest position.

  4. Step 4: Adjust Height (Optional)

Each leg has multiple height settings. To adjust, press the push-button on the leg and slide the inner leg up or down to your desired height. Ensure all four legs are adjusted to the same height for stability.

  5. Step 5: Secure the Canopy

Fill the provided sandbags with sand and attach them to the canopy legs for added stability. Use the guy lines and ground stakes to firmly anchor the canopy to the ground, especially in breezy conditions. Always use all anchoring points.

4. Operation

Adjusting Canopy Height

The canopy features three adjustable height settings. To change the height, locate the push-pin on each leg. Press the pin and slide the inner leg to the desired height. Ensure the pin locks securely into one of the pre-drilled holes. Always adjust all four legs to the same height to maintain stability and prevent damage.

One-Push Locking Mechanism

The patented one-push locking mechanism simplifies setup and takedown. To lock the frame, push the central knob upwards until it clicks. To unlock for takedown, push the central knob downwards. This mechanism ensures the canopy's trusses are securely in place during use.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Canopy Fabric: Clean the canopy fabric with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the UPF 50+ coating and water-resistant properties. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
  • Frame: Wipe the powder-coated steel frame with a damp cloth. Dry immediately to prevent rust.

Storage

Before storing, ensure the canopy fabric and frame are completely dry to prevent mold, mildew, and rust. Fold the canopy fabric neatly and store it along with the folded frame, sandbags, guy lines, and stakes in the provided roller bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Canopy Difficult to Open/Close: Check for any obstructions in the frame's scissor mechanism. Ensure all joints are aligned and not bent. Apply light silicone spray to moving parts if necessary.
  • Canopy Unstable: Verify that all legs are fully extended and locked at the same height. Ensure sandbags are filled and properly attached, and all ground stakes and guy lines are securely anchored.
  • Water Leakage: While the canopy fabric is water-resistant, prolonged heavy rain may cause some leakage, especially at seams. Ensure the canopy is taut to allow water runoff. In heavy rain, it is recommended to take down the canopy.
