Operating Instructions

Loading Bikes:

  1. Place the first bike onto the rack, ensuring its wheels rest securely in the adjustable wheel cradles.
  2. Lower the soft frame clamps over the bike's top tube and lock them into place. This prevents wobbling and protects the bike's finish.
  3. Secure the wheels using the provided tire straps. Ensure the straps are tight and the wheels cannot spin.
  4. Repeat for the second bike, if applicable.
  5. Attach the safety strap to the bikes and rack as an additional security measure.

Tilting Function for Trunk Access:

To access your vehicle's trunk without removing the bikes, utilize the tilting feature:

  1. Locate the quick-release pin mechanism near the base of the rack where it connects to the hitch arm.
  2. Pull the quick-release pin to disengage the locking mechanism.
  3. Carefully tilt the entire rack assembly downwards, away from the vehicle.
  4. Once you have accessed your trunk, lift the rack back into its upright position until the quick-release pin re-engages and locks securely.

Important: This tilting function does NOT fit vehicles with swing-out tailgates.
