4. Setup
4.1 Powering On the Camera
Connect the provided charging cable to the camera's power port and plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will initiate its startup sequence, indicated by a series of chimes and LED light changes.

4.2 App Download and Account Creation
Download the VicoHome app from your smartphone's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store). Create a new account or log in if you already have one. The app will guide you through the process of adding a new device.

4.3 Wi-Fi Connection
Follow the in-app instructions to connect your camera to your home Wi-Fi network. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the camera. The app will prompt you to scan a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens to establish the connection.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
Once connected, access the live feed through the VicoHome app. Use the on-screen controls to pan (horizontal movement) and tilt (vertical movement) the camera to view different areas of your room. The camera offers 360° horizontal rotation and 70° vertical tilt.

5.2 Two-Way Audio
The two-way audio feature allows you to speak through the camera and hear audio from the camera's location. Tap the microphone icon in the app to activate this function. This is useful for communicating with family members, pets, or deterring intruders.

5.3 Motion and Sound Detection
Enable motion and sound detection in the app settings to receive instant alerts on your smartphone when activity is detected. You can customize sensitivity levels and detection zones to reduce false alarms.

5.4 Automatic Tracking
Activate the auto-tracking feature to allow the camera to automatically follow moving objects or individuals within its field of view. This ensures continuous monitoring of activity.

5.5 Night Vision
The camera is equipped with advanced night vision for clear monitoring in low-light or dark conditions. The night vision mode activates automatically when ambient light is insufficient.

5.6 Privacy Mode
For enhanced privacy, activate the privacy mode through the app. This feature physically retracts the camera lens, ensuring no video or audio is recorded or streamed during this period.

5.7 Video Storage
The camera supports two storage options:
- Cloud Storage: Securely store your video footage on the cloud (subscription may be required for extended storage).
- Memory Card Storage: Insert a microSD card (up to 256GB, not included) into the camera for local storage of recordings.

6. Installation

- Tabletop Placement: Simply place the camera on a flat surface like a table or shelf.
- Wall Mounting: Use the included mounting plate and screws to secure the camera to a wall.
- Ceiling Mounting: The camera can also be mounted upside down on a ceiling using the provided hardware. Ensure to adjust the image rotation setting in the app if mounting upside down.
