The lock consists of two main parts: the fingerprint recognition unit and the cable attachment point. These are connected by a steel wire cable. The fingerprint unit houses the sensor, charging port, and internal battery.

Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the lock. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the fingerprint unit and to a standard USB power adapter (not included).

The indicator light will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged). A full charge typically takes a few hours.

2. Fingerprint Registration

The lock supports multiple fingerprints. The first fingerprint registered will be the administrator. Subsequent fingerprints will be regular users.

1. Administrator Fingerprint: Press and hold the fingerprint sensor for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light turns blue and flashes.
2. Place your finger on the sensor, lift it, and repeat this process multiple times (usually 5-10 times) from different angles until the indicator light turns green, confirming successful registration.
3. Adding More Fingerprints: To add additional fingerprints (up to 20 total), use the administrator's registered finger to unlock the device. Then, press and hold the sensor for 5 seconds until the blue light flashes. Follow step 2 for the new fingerprint.
4. To delete all fingerprints, use the administrator's registered finger to unlock the device. Then, press and hold the sensor for 10 seconds until the red light flashes, then release. All registered fingerprints will be cleared.

3. Installation

The lock can be installed using adhesive pads or screws (if provided and suitable for your surface). Clean the surface thoroughly before installation.

1. Determine the optimal placement for the fingerprint unit and the cable attachment point. Ensure the cable can span the desired distance without excessive tension.
2. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pads on the back of both lock components.
3. Firmly press each component onto the clean surface for at least 30 seconds. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before applying significant force.
4. For enhanced security or on rough surfaces, use screws (if applicable) to secure the components.

The lock features adjustable ventilation spacing, allowing you to customize the installation to fit various window or door gaps. Ensure the cable is taut but not overly stressed when the lock is engaged.

Operating Instructions

Unlocking

To unlock the device, simply place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The indicator light will turn green, and the lock will disengage, allowing you to open the secured item.

Locking

To lock the device, simply close the secured item and ensure the cable is properly engaged between the two components. The lock will automatically secure itself.

Low Battery Indication

When the battery is low, the indicator light may flash red or emit an audible warning. Recharge the lock promptly to ensure continuous operation.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the fingerprint sensor and the lock body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Charging: Recharge the lock regularly, especially if it's not used frequently, to maintain battery health.
• Cable Inspection: Periodically check the steel wire cable for any signs of wear or damage. If damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support.
• Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the lock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or excessive moisture.
