2. Safety Instructions

- The robot is for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors or in commercial/industrial environments.
- Do not use the robot in areas with open flames or fragile objects.
- Keep the robot away from children and pets. Supervise children when the robot is operating.
- Ensure the power adapter voltage is compatible with your local power supply.
- Do not handle the power adapter or robot with wet hands.
- Turn off the robot and unplug the power adapter before cleaning or maintenance.
- Do not use the robot to pick up large debris, liquids, burning or smoking materials.
- Regularly check the brushes and wheels for tangled hair or debris.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service agent to avoid hazards.

4.1 Key Features

5. Setup
5.1 Charging Station Placement
- Place the recharging station against a wall in an open, uncluttered area.
- Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on either side of the charging station and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front of it.
- Plug the power adapter into the charging station and then into a wall outlet. Ensure the indicator light on the charging station illuminates.
5.2 Initial Charging
- Place the robot onto the charging station, ensuring the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the station.
- The robot will begin charging automatically. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours.
- For optimal battery life, fully charge the robot before its first use.
5.3 App Connection (Optional)
To utilize advanced features like mapping and scheduling, download the PALOTR app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home Wi-Fi network.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Starting/Stopping Cleaning
- Start Cleaning: Press the power button on the robot or the 'Clean' button on the remote control/app. The robot will begin cleaning in its default mode.
- Pause Cleaning: Press the power button on the robot or the 'Pause' button on the remote control/app during operation.
- Return to Charging Station: Press the home button on the robot or the 'Home' button on the remote control/app. The robot will return to its charging station.
6.2 Using the Remote Control
The included remote control allows for direct command of the robot's basic functions, including starting/stopping, directing movement, and selecting cleaning modes.

6.4 Voice Control

7. Cleaning Modes

- Zig-zag Cleaning: The robot cleans in an efficient, back-and-forth pattern, covering the entire area systematically.
- Spot Cleaning: Concentrates cleaning on a specific small area, ideal for spills or concentrated dirt.
- Edge Cleaning: The robot follows along walls and furniture edges to ensure thorough cleaning of corners and perimeters.
- Random Cleaning: The robot navigates randomly, changing direction upon encountering obstacles.

8. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum cleaner.
8.1 Emptying the Dustbin
- Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
- Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents into a trash bin.
- Clean the HEPA filter and primary filter with the cleaning brush or rinse with water (ensure completely dry before reinstallation).
- Reinstall the filters and dustbin.
8.2 Cleaning the Side Brushes
Periodically remove any hair or debris tangled around the side brushes. If brushes are worn, replace them with new ones.
8.3 Cleaning the Sensors
Wipe the anti-drop sensors and anti-collision sensors on the robot's underside and front bumper with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper functionality.
8.4 Cleaning the Mop Pad and Water Tank
- Remove the mop pad from the water tank module and wash it thoroughly. Allow it to air dry completely.
- Empty any remaining water from the water tank. Rinse the tank and allow it to air dry.
- Ensure the water tank is properly installed before mopping.
