6. Operating Instructions

6.1 General Safety Precautions

  • Always wear the provided safety goggles and gloves before operating the chainsaw.
  • Ensure the chain is properly tensioned and lubricated.
  • Keep bystanders, especially children and pets, at a safe distance.
  • Avoid operating in wet conditions or near power lines.

6.2 Using the Handheld Mini Chainsaw

For precise trimming of smaller branches or cutting firewood:

  1. Insert a charged battery into the chainsaw unit.
  2. Push up the safety switch and hold the trigger to start the saw.
  3. Position the saw firmly against the branch and allow the chain to do the cutting. Do not force the saw.

6.3 Using the Extension Pole Saw

For reaching high branches without a ladder:

  1. Assemble the extension pole as described in Section 3.2.
  2. Insert a charged battery into the handle of the extension pole.
  3. Adjust the cutting head angle (0-112°) using the adjustment button for optimal reach and cutting position.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Chain Tension Adjustment

Proper chain tension is vital for safe and efficient operation. A chain that is too loose can derail, and a chain that is too tight can cause excessive wear and damage.

  1. Loosen the two compression nuts on the side cover.
  2. Adjust the tension knob to tighten the chain. A slightly loose space (3mm-4mm gap) is required to allow for chain adjustment.
  3. Rotate the compression nuts clockwise to fix the guide plate and secure the tension.
