Operating Instructions
Writing
Hold the pen comfortably and apply light pressure to write on paper. The 0.7mm tip provides a smooth writing experience with vibrant gel ink.

Erasing
To correct mistakes, use the special eraser located at the end of the pen. The thermosensitive ink reacts to the friction-generated heat, becoming invisible.
- Position the Eraser: Place the eraser tip directly over the ink you wish to remove.
- Apply Gentle Pressure: Rub the eraser over the ink with gentle, consistent pressure. The ink will disappear without damaging the paper.
- Note: The eraser does not wear down like traditional rubber erasers and leaves no residue.

Ink Reappearance (Special Feature)
The thermosensitive ink is designed to disappear with heat. However, it can reappear if exposed to very cold temperatures (below -10°C or 14°F). This feature can be used for creative purposes, such as "secret messages."

Maintenance
- Storage: Store pens at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or extreme heat, to prevent accidental ink fading.
- Refills: These pens are designed to be refillable. When the ink runs out, replace the ink cartridge with a compatible LEGAMI thermosensitive gel ink refill.
- Cleaning: If the pen barrel becomes dirty, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Ink not flowing smoothly. | Pen tip is dry or clogged; low ink level. | Gently scribble on a scrap piece of paper to restart ink flow. If ink is low, replace the refill. |
| Ink does not erase completely. | Insufficient friction/heat; paper type. | Apply slightly more pressure when erasing. Ensure you are using the correct eraser on the pen. Some paper types may react differently. |
| Ink reappears after erasing. | Exposure to cold temperatures. | This is a characteristic of thermosensitive ink. Avoid exposing written or erased areas to temperatures below -10°C (14°F). |
| Pen cap is difficult to remove or replace. | Minor manufacturing variation or debris. | Twist gently while pulling/pushing. Ensure no foreign objects are obstructing the cap. |
