3. Setup
Before first use, assemble the tiller and charge the batteries.
3.1. Assembly
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify all components are present according to the packing list.
- Attach Handles: Securely attach the upper and lower handle sections using the provided fasteners. Ensure all connections are tight.
- Adjust Handle Height: The handle features a 4-position height adjustment. Select a comfortable working height by adjusting the locking mechanisms on the handle shafts.

3.2. Battery Charging
The tiller operates on two 40V (2x20V) 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries. Fully charge both batteries before initial use.
- Connect the quick charger to a standard power outlet.
- Insert the 4.0Ah batteries into the charger slots.

- Once fully charged, remove the batteries from the charger.

3.3. Battery Installation

4. Operation

4.1. Starting the Tiller

- Position the tiller on the area to be cultivated.
- Firmly grasp the handle.
- Press and hold the safety button (usually located on the handle).

- Release the trigger switch to stop the tiller. The safety button will automatically reset.

4.2. Cultivating Techniques
- Guide the tiller slowly and steadily over the soil. Do not force the machine.
- For deeper cultivation, make multiple passes over the same area, gradually increasing depth.
- Overlap each pass slightly to ensure even cultivation.
- Avoid operating the tiller on extremely hard or rocky soil, as this can damage the tines or motor.
- The tiller is designed for a maximum cultivating width of 12 inches and a depth of 8 inches.

4.3. Stopping and Storage
- Release the trigger switch to stop the tiller.
- Wait for all moving parts to come to a complete stop.
- Remove the batteries from the tiller when not in use or before cleaning/maintenance.
- For storage, the handle can be folded for a more compact size.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tiller.
5.1. Cleaning
- Always remove batteries before cleaning.
- Clean the tines and housing after each use to remove soil, debris, and plant matter.
- Use a stiff brush or cloth. Do not use water directly on electrical components.

5.2. Battery Care
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
