Familiarize yourself with the physical components and controls of your Buffbee Pro 2nd Gen.

Top Panel Controls

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
  • Bluetooth (BT) Button: Activates Bluetooth pairing mode.
  • Alarm Button: Set and manage alarms.
  • Music Note Button: Cycles through various sound modes (white noise, nature sounds, etc.).
  • Volume Up/Down Buttons: Adjust audio volume.
  • Light Button: Controls the ambient light feature (on/off, color change).
  • Timer Button: Sets sleep timer duration.

Rear Panel Controls

  • Light Dimmer Dial: Adjusts the brightness of the ambient light.
  • Display Dimmer Dial: Adjusts the brightness of the digital clock display.
  • USB-C Port: For charging the device.

Setup

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your Buffbee Pro 2nd Gen. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the device's charging port and the power adapter to a wall outlet. The charging indicator on the display will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

Setting the Time

  1. Press and hold the Time button (clock icon) on the top panel until the hour digits begin to flash.
  2. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press the Time button again to switch to minute adjustment.
  4. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to adjust the minutes.
  5. Press the Time button one more time to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Operating Instructions

White Noise Sound Machine

The device offers 25 different soothing sounds, including various white noise types, nature sounds, and lullabies.

  1. Press the Music Note button to cycle through the available sounds. The display will show a number corresponding to the sound.
  2. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to adjust the sound level.
  3. To set a sleep timer, press the Timer button repeatedly to select a duration (e.g., 30, 60, 90 minutes, or continuous play).

Alarm Clock

Set up to 8 different alarm tones to wake up gently.

  1. Press and hold the Alarm button (bell icon) until the alarm time flashes.
  2. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
  3. Press the Alarm button again to switch to minute adjustment.
  4. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to set the desired alarm minutes.
  5. Press the Alarm button to select an alarm tone (1-8).
  6. Press the Alarm button one more time to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
  7. To snooze, press any button on the top panel when the alarm sounds.
  8. To turn off the alarm, press and hold the Alarm button.

Bluetooth Speaker

Connect your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices to play your own audio.

  1. Press the Bluetooth (BT) button on the top panel. The display will show "BT" and flash, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your device (e.g., smartphone), search for "Buffbee Pro 2nd Gen" in the Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
  3. Once paired, the "BT" icon will stop flashing. You can now play music, podcasts, or audiobooks through the speaker.
  4. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons on the device or your connected device to control the volume.

Ambient Light Feature

The device features an ambient light ring at its base with adjustable colors and brightness.

  1. Press the Light button (sun icon) to turn the ambient light on/off and cycle through different colors.
  2. Use the Light Dimmer Dial on the rear panel to adjust the brightness of the ambient light.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in constant use.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Device does not turn on. Low battery or no power. Charge the device using the provided USB-C cable and power adapter.
No sound from the speaker. Volume is too low or muted; Bluetooth not connected. Increase volume using the Volume Up button. Ensure Bluetooth is properly paired if using speaker mode.
Bluetooth pairing fails. Device is too far from the speaker; speaker is not in pairing mode. Ensure the device is within 33 feet (10 meters) of the speaker. Press the Bluetooth (BT) button to enter pairing mode (BT icon flashes).
Alarm does not sound. Alarm is not set or is deactivated. Verify alarm settings and ensure the alarm icon is visible on the display.
Display is too bright/dim. Display brightness needs adjustment. Adjust the Display Dimmer Dial on the rear panel.
Ambient light is not working or incorrect color. Light feature is off or needs color adjustment. Press the Light button to cycle through colors or turn on. Adjust the Light Dimmer Dial for brightness.
