2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Install Remote Controller Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote controller and insert 2 D batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
  2. Install Vehicle Battery: Carefully remove the body pins from the RC crawler to access the battery compartment. Connect one of the provided 350mAh lithium batteries to the vehicle's power connector. Secure the battery within its compartment using the strap.
  3. Charge Vehicle Batteries: Connect the USB charging cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, power bank, USB wall adapter). Connect the battery to the charging cable. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

4.2. Pairing the Remote Controller

To establish a connection between the remote controller and the RC crawler:

  1. Ensure both the RC crawler and the remote controller are powered off.
  2. Turn on the RC crawler. The indicator light on the vehicle will flash.
  3. Turn on the remote controller. The indicator light on the remote will flash.
  4. Wait for a few seconds. Once the indicator lights on both the vehicle and the remote controller become solid, the pairing is successful.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Controls

  • Throttle Trigger: Pull the trigger to move forward, push to brake or reverse.
  • Steering Wheel: Turn the wheel left or right to steer the vehicle.
  • Steering Trim (ST. TRIM): Adjusts the neutral position of the steering. If the vehicle pulls to one side, use this dial to correct it.
  • Throttle Trim (TH. TRIM): Adjusts the neutral position of the throttle. If the vehicle moves slightly without trigger input, use this dial to correct it.

5.2. 2-Speed Regulation

The VEVOR RC Crawler features a 2-speed regulation system, allowing you to switch between high and low speeds with a single click on the remote control. This feature is designed to accommodate different skill levels and driving conditions.

5.3. All-Terrain Driving

Equipped with a 4x4 four-wheel drive system, 4-link front and rear suspension, and a 45-degree steering angle, this RC crawler is designed for various terrains including grass, slopes, gravel, mud, and sand.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

After each use, especially in dirty or dusty conditions, clean the vehicle to prevent debris from affecting performance. Use a soft brush or cloth to remove dirt from the chassis, wheels, and suspension components. Avoid using water directly on electronic parts.

6.2. Battery Care

  • Always fully charge batteries before storage.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not leave batteries connected to the vehicle when not in use.

  • Vehicle not responding: Ensure both the vehicle and remote controller are powered on and properly paired. Check battery levels in both devices.
  • Poor performance/short run time: Fully charge the vehicle battery. Ensure the battery is securely connected. Avoid continuous high-speed operation to prevent overheating.
  • Vehicle pulls to one side: Adjust the steering trim (ST. TRIM) on the remote controller until the vehicle drives straight.
  • Overheating: If the motor or electronic speed controller (ESC) feels excessively hot, stop operation immediately and allow the vehicle to cool down. Prolonged overheating can damage components.
