4. Setup and Assembly
Your Trailmaster MX250 dirt bike requires some assembly. Please follow these steps carefully. It is recommended to have a second person assist with certain steps.
4.1 Unboxing and Frame Removal
- Carefully cut the straps securing the cardboard box.
- Lift the cardboard box off the metal frame to reveal the bike.
- Cut the zip ties securing the front wheel and remove it from the frame.
- Cut the remaining zip ties and remove the motorcycle from the metal frame.
4.2 Front Wheel and Fender Installation
- Insert the front axle through the fork and wheel hub, ensuring the spacers are correctly positioned.
- Secure the axle with the provided nuts and tighten them.
- Attach the front brake caliper to the fork using the designated bolts.
- Mount the front fender to the lower triple clamp using the provided screws and washers.
4.3 Handlebar and Controls Installation
- Install the handlebar risers onto the top triple clamp and secure them with bolts.
- Position the handlebars in the risers and tighten the clamps.
- Connect the electrical wiring for the headlight and turn signals. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
- Install the mirrors into their designated mounts on the handlebars.
4.4 Body Panels and Battery Connection
- Attach the side body panels to the frame using the provided screws.
- Connect the battery terminals, ensuring the positive (+) terminal (red cable) is connected first, followed by the negative (-) terminal (green/black cable).
- Secure the battery in its compartment.
- Install the seat onto the frame, aligning it with the mounting points.
- Attach the rear rack (if included) to the designated mounting points on the rear fender.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Engine
- Ensure the fuel tank is filled with the appropriate fuel type (refer to specifications).

- For kick start: Use the kick starter with a firm, downward motion.
