2. Setup and Installation

This section provides instructions for installing your smart lock and handle set. A cross screwdriver is the only tool required for installation.

2.1. Door Compatibility and Preparation

  1. Install the Latch: Insert the latch into the door edge, ensuring the "UP" marking faces upwards. Secure with screws.
  2. Install the Keypad: Feed the keypad wire through the door hole. Align the keypad with the latch and secure it.
  3. Install the Mounting Plate: Pass the keypad wire through the mounting plate. Secure the mounting plate to the door.
  4. Connect Wires and Install Interior Plate: Connect the keypad wire to the interior plate. Carefully tuck excess wire into the door hole. Secure the interior plate.
  5. Install Batteries: Insert 4 AA batteries into the interior unit.
  6. Install Exterior and Interior Handles: Attach the exterior handle set and interior handle, ensuring proper alignment and function.

3. Operating Instructions

Your smart lock offers various methods for locking and unlocking. Familiarize yourself with each method for optimal use.

3.1. TTLock App Control (Bluetooth)

Control your smart lock via the TTLock App on your smartphone. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and you are within 2 meters of the lock during pairing.

  1. Add the Lock: Turn on phone Bluetooth, keep the keypad awake, select your lock in the app, name it, and choose the door opening direction.
  2. Lock/Unlock: Tap once to unlock, hold for 1 second to lock.
  3. Manage Users: Add fingerprints, IC cards, and generate passcodes.
  4. View Records: Check lock activity history.

Enter your 4-9 digit passcode on the touchscreen keypad. For enhanced security, use the anti-peeping function by entering random digits before or after your actual code.

For remote locking/unlocking and voice control with Alexa/Google Home, a G2 Gateway (sold separately) is required. Keep the gateway within 10 feet of the lock for a strong connection.
