2. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Sawgrass SG1000 printer:

1. Unbox the Printer: Carefully remove all packaging materials and protective films from the printer.
2. Install Sawgrass Inks: Open the ink cartridge cover and insert the SubliJet UHD ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) into their corresponding slots. Ensure they click into place.
3. Download Print Utility: Access the MySawgrass platform online to download and install the Sawgrass Print Utility software on your computer. This software is essential for precise color accuracy and print management.

3. Operating

4. Maintenance

• Replace Ink or Depleted Ink: This message prompts you to replace the ink cartridge. Printing is disabled as a safety measure until the affected cartridges are swapped out to protect the printer. Replacing cartridges is a straightforward process.

5. Troubleshooting

• "Low Ink" Warning: As mentioned in the maintenance section, this indicates ink levels are getting low but not critically depleted. You can continue printing until a "Replace Ink" message appears.
• Lines in Prints / Print Quality Issues: If you notice lines or imperfections in your prints, performing a nozzle cleaning or other print head maintenance procedures can often resolve the issue. The printer's automatic maintenance functions typically prevent these, but manual intervention may be needed occasionally.
• Software Glitches: Some users have reported occasional software glitches after updates. Ensure your Sawgrass Print Utility and MySawgrass platform are updated to the latest versions. If issues persist, try reinstalling the software.
