4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Pre-Installation Check
Before beginning installation, ensure your vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected to prevent electrical damage.

4.2 Wiring Diagram for Backup Camera
Connect the HD backup camera using the provided wiring. The reversing line connects to the CAMERA plug on the device. The red cable connects to the brake cable (brown cable). The red cable also connects to the positive electrode of the reversing light, and the black cable to the negative electrode of the reversing light.

4.3 Connector Selection
Select the appropriate wiring harness plug based on your specific vehicle model and original audio system configuration:
- 12-pin plug: For Chrysler models.
- 11-pin plug: For Jeep models without an original amplifier.
- 7-pin plug: For Jeep models with an original Alpine or Infinity sound system.
