Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the humidifier from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, water-resistant surface at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and furniture. Ensure the mist outlet is not directed at walls or furniture.
3. Filling the Water Tank:

   The Bell+Howell humidifier features a convenient top-fill design. Simply pour clean, cool tap water directly into the top opening of the unit. Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated inside the tank. For best results and to prevent mineral buildup, consider using distilled or demineralized water.

Operating Instructions

Your Bell+Howell humidifier offers multiple features for customized comfort.

Power On/Off and Mist Control

• Power On: Press the power button (usually indicated by a circle with a vertical line) on the front panel to turn the unit on. The humidifier will start operating on the lowest mist setting.
• Adjusting Mist Output: Press the mist control button (often represented by mist icons or lines) repeatedly to cycle through the three mist output levels: Low, Medium, and High.

Color Changing Lights

Automatic Shut-off

Daily Maintenance

• Empty the water tank and wipe it dry with a clean cloth.
• Refill with fresh, cool water before each use.

Weekly Cleaning

• Unplug the Unit: Always unplug the humidifier from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Empty Water: Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
• Clean Water Tank: Fill the water tank halfway with water and add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Swish the solution around and let it sit for 30 minutes.
• Clean Base: Dip a soft brush or cloth in the vinegar solution and gently scrub the inside of the base, including the ultrasonic nebulizer (the small disc).
• Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse both the tank and base thoroughly with clean water until the smell of vinegar is gone. Ensure no water enters the air outlet or control panel.
• Dry: Wipe all surfaces dry with a clean, soft cloth. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

Important: Do not immerse the base unit in water. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads, as these can damage the humidifier's surfaces and internal components.
