4. Operating Instructions
Operating your AMZCHEF juicer is straightforward. Follow these steps for optimal juicing results.
4.1 Ingredient Preparation
- Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
- For most fruits and vegetables, pre-cutting is not necessary due to the 145mm wide feed chute. However, very large or fibrous items may benefit from being cut into smaller pieces.
- Remove hard pits from fruits like peaches, plums, or cherries.
- Peel citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruits) to avoid bitter taste from the rind.

4.2 Juicing Process
- Ensure the juicer is correctly assembled and the juice and pulp containers are in place.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the control dial to the 'ON' position. The juicer will begin to operate.
- Slowly feed the prepared ingredients into the wide feed chute. The automatic feeding mechanism will draw the ingredients in.
- Observe the juice flowing into the juice container and pulp collecting in the pulp container.
- If ingredients get stuck, turn the dial to 'REV' (Reverse) for a few seconds to clear the blockage, then return to 'ON'.
- Once juicing is complete, turn the control dial to 'OFF' and unplug the appliance.

4.3 Anti-Drip Lid Feature
The juicer is equipped with a silicone anti-drip lid on the juice outlet. This allows you to temporarily close the outlet to change juice cups without turning off the machine, or to prevent drips on your countertop after juicing.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your juicer. The juicer requires hand washing for all removable parts.
- Disassembly: Unplug the juicer. Turn the feed chute lid counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it. Then, remove the filter basket and auger. Finally, lift the juicing bowl from the motor base.
- Rinse Immediately: Rinse all removable parts (lid, auger, filter, juicing bowl, containers) under running water immediately after use. This prevents pulp from drying and sticking.
- Use Cleaning Brush: Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any stubborn pulp from the filter mesh and other components.
- Wash with Soap: Wash all removable parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Dry: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
- Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water.
Note: The juicer parts are not dishwasher safe. Hand washing is required.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Juicer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; not assembled correctly; safety lock not engaged. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged in. Check that all parts are correctly assembled and the lid is locked. |
| Ingredients are stuck or juicer stops. | Overloading; hard ingredients; pulp buildup. | Turn the control dial to 'REV' (Reverse) for a few seconds, then back to 'ON'. If blockage persists, turn off, unplug, and disassemble to clear. Cut hard ingredients into smaller pieces. |
| Excessive pulp in juice. | Filter mesh clogged; very soft fruits. | Clean the filter thoroughly. For very soft fruits, alternate with harder fruits or process them separately. |
| Loud noise during operation. | Improper assembly; foreign object; motor issue. | Check assembly. Turn off and unplug to inspect for foreign objects. If noise persists, contact customer support. |
