Setup

1. Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The indicator light will show charging status.

2. Connecting the Keyboard

The LOFREE DOT Foundation keyboard supports three connection types: 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, and wired (Type-C).

2.1. 2.4G Wireless Connection

Locate the 2.4G wireless receiver.
Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
Switch the keyboard's connection mode to 2.4G (refer to the switch on the keyboard, usually labeled with a wireless icon).
The keyboard should automatically connect.

2.2. Bluetooth 5.3 Connection

Switch the keyboard's connection mode to Bluetooth (usually labeled with a Bluetooth icon).
On your device (Laptop, PC, Tablet, Smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
Select "LOFREE DOT Foundation" from the list of available devices.
Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

2.3. Type-C Wired Connection

Connect one end of the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C port.
Connect the other end to a USB port on your computer.
The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and function without needing a battery charge.

Operating Instructions

1. Backlight Effects

The keyboard features 7 white backlight effects. You can adjust the modes, frequency, and brightness using specific key combinations. Refer to the keyboard's function keys (F1-F12) for specific backlight controls, often indicated by icons.

2. Hot-Swappable Design

The LOFREE DOT Foundation keyboard features a hot-swappable design, allowing you to change mechanical switches without soldering. This enables customization of your typing feel.

Use the provided keycap puller to gently remove the desired keycap.
Use the switch puller (not always included, may need separate purchase) to carefully pull out the mechanical switch.
Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and gently push it into place until it clicks.
Replace the keycap.

3. Jelly Palm Rest Usage
