Product Overview

This document provides instructions for the Lofree THX-0418 keyboard, covering its features, operation, connectivity, and safety guidelines.

Operation Instructions

Charging

Use only the provided Type-C cable for charging.

Charging Indicator (?):

• The indicator blinks red every second when the battery level is below 20%.
• It blinks continuously when the battery level is below 5% until the device powers off.
• The indicator blinks white while charging.
• The indicator stays solid white when fully charged.

Connection Modes (Wired/Bluetooth/2.4G)

Connection Switch:

• WLS: Bluetooth/2.4G mode
• OFF: Power Off
• CAB: Wired mode

System Switch:

• Switch between Windows/Android/Harmony OS and Mac/iOS modes.

Indicators

• Battery Indicator (?): As described in the charging section.
• CAPS Indicator (?): Illuminates when Caps Lock is active.
• Bluetooth Indicator (?):
  • Blinks when in Bluetooth mode, searching for devices for 3 minutes.
  • Solid light indicates a successful connection.
  • Fast blinking (3 times) indicates device switching.
  • Slow blinking (for 1 minute) indicates reconnection.
• 2.4G Indicator (?):
  • Blinks for 1 minute when initiating 2.4G connection.
  • Solid light indicates a successful connection.

2.4G Receiver

A small USB dongle used for 2.4G wireless connection.

Connecting Devices

Bluetooth Connection

1. Set the mode switch to WLS.
2. Remove the 2.4G receiver.
3. Press and hold Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 until the Bluetooth indicator (?) blinks slowly.
4. On your target device (e.g., PC, tablet, smartphone), navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "DOT2＠Lofree".
5. The Bluetooth indicator (?) will turn solid white upon successful connection.
6. Tap Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 to connect to different devices.
7. The indicator blinks rapidly 3 times when switching between paired devices.
8. The indicator blinks slowly for 1 minute upon reconnection.

2.4G Connection

1. Set the mode switch to WLS.
2. Plug the 2.4G receiver into a USB port on your target device.
3. Press Fn + 4. The 2.4G indicator (?) will blink slowly.
4. The 2.4G indicator (?) will turn solid white upon successful connection.

Note: MAC devices may not fully support multimedia functions when using the 2.4G mode.

Wired Connection

1. Set the mode switch to CAB.
2. Connect the keyboard to your device using the Type-C data cable.
3. The wired connection is now established.

System Switch Usage

• Mac/iOS: Switch the system switch to Mac/iOS. This enables multimedia key functionality tailored for these operating systems. Pressing the Fn key simultaneously with F1-F12 keys will activate their respective functions.
• Windows/Android: Switch the system switch to Windows/Android. This enables multimedia key functionality for these operating systems. Pressing the Fn key simultaneously with F1-F12 keys will activate their respective functions.

Light Effect Function

Light Modes

The keyboard features 7 distinct light effects. The lighting is enabled by default.

Adjusting Light Brightness

Brightness can be adjusted across 4 levels: 0%, 40%, 70%, and 100%.

• Press Fn + F5 to decrease brightness.
• Press Fn + F6 to increase brightness.

Adjusting Light Frequency (Speed)

The light speed can be adjusted across 4 different speeds.

• Press Fn + Left Arrow (←) to decrease the light frequency (slow down).

Safety Warnings

• ⚠️ Battery Safety: Improper battery replacement may lead to leakage, explosion, or personal injury.
• Do not use the product if the battery is leaking, discolored, deformed, or shows any other abnormalities.
• Avoid leaving the battery in a discharged state or unused for extended periods.
• Do not short-circuit the product.
• Battery life varies with usage. Dispose of used batteries according to local laws or recycling guidelines for electronic equipment.
• If any liquid accidentally enters the product, immediately turn off the power and disconnect the product. Continued use may cause fire or electric shock. Contact the nearest customer service center for inspection and maintenance.

Hazardous Substances:

• This product's classification and marking are based on EU Directive 2011/65/EU and its amendment 2015/863/EU.
• 'O' indicates that the hazardous substance content in the homogeneous material of the component is below the limit requirement of GB/T 26572.
• 'X' indicates that the hazardous substance contained in at least one of the homogeneous materials constituting the part exceeds the limit requirement of GB/T 26572 for at least one part.

Environmental Protection Instruction:

• Hazardous substances in the electronic parts of this product will not leak or change under normal use conditions.
• Electronic parts will not be damaged by environmental factors during normal use. However, failure to follow the written instructions by consumers may cause serious impacts on human health and the environment.
