4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your YMOO Wireless Audio Transmitter and Receiver kit:

1. Connect the Transmitter (TX):
   • Connect the Transmitter to your audio source (e.g., TV, PC, CD player, MP4) using either the 3.5mm AUX input or the RCA inputs.

Note:

• The transmitter and receiver can only be connected to each other and cannot be paired with other Bluetooth devices.
• Simultaneous use of dual AUX and RCA inputs on the same unit is not recommended, as it may result in mixed audio at the receiving end.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the multi-functional knob for 1 to 3 seconds to power the unit ON or OFF.

5.2. Volume Control

Rotate the multi-functional knob clockwise to increase the volume and counter-clockwise to decrease the volume. The volume can be adjusted on either the transmitter or receiver unit.

5.3. Mute/Unmute

Press the multi-functional knob once to mute the audio. Press it again to unmute. When muted, the LED indicator ring will turn red.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Audio Output:
  • Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on and the LED indicator rings are solid blue, indicating a successful connection.
  • Check all audio cables are securely connected to the correct input/output ports on both the YMOO units and your audio devices.
  • Verify that the volume on both the YMOO units and your audio source/output device is not muted and is set to an audible level.
  • Confirm that the audio source is playing content.
• Intermittent Audio or Disconnections:
  • Ensure the transmitter and receiver are within the effective operating range (up to 200ft/60m in open areas, 98ft/30m indoors).
  • Minimize physical obstructions (walls, large furniture) between the transmitter and receiver.
  • Avoid placing the units near other 2.4GHz wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) that may cause interference.
  • Power cycle both units by disconnecting and reconnecting their power cables.
• Poor Audio Quality (Noise, Distortion):
  • Check the quality of the audio source.
  • Ensure that only one input type (AUX or RCA) is used at a time on each unit to prevent audio mixing.
  • Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver.
• Units Not Pairing:
  • Ensure both units are powered on and the LED indicator rings are flashing blue.
  • If they do not pair automatically, power cycle both units.
  • Confirm that you are not attempting to pair with a Bluetooth device, as these units only pair with each other.
