Control Functions:

Volume Knob: Turn to adjust volume. Long press to power the soundbar ON/OFF.
Previous Track Button: (Bluetooth mode only) Short press to go to the previous track.
Play/Pause Button: (Bluetooth mode only) Short press to play or pause audio.
Next Track Button: (Bluetooth mode only) Short press to go to the next track.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cable to the power input port on the soundbar.
Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard wall outlet.
Long press the Volume Knob to power on the soundbar.

4.2 Audio Connection

The Redragon GS817 supports two audio input methods: Bluetooth 5.3 and 3.5mm AUX.

4.2.1 Bluetooth Connection

Ensure the soundbar is powered on.
Press the BT/AUX Mode Button until the soundbar is in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a specific light pattern or audio prompt).
On your audio source device (e.g., smartphone, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
Select "GS817" from the list of found devices.
Once connected, the soundbar will indicate a successful pairing.

4.2.2 3.5mm AUX Connection

Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your audio source device's headphone jack to the AUX input port on the soundbar.
Press the BT/AUX Mode Button until the soundbar is in AUX input mode.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Power On: Long press the Volume Knob.
Power Off: Long press the Volume Knob.

5.2 Volume Adjustment

Turn the Volume Knob clockwise to increase volume.
Turn the Volume Knob counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
The RGB lighting on the soundbar will visually indicate the current volume level.

5.3 Input Mode Selection

Press the BT/AUX Mode Button to toggle between Bluetooth and 3.5mm AUX input modes.

Press the Light Effect Mode Button to cycle through the available RGB lighting modes.
Continue pressing to turn off the lighting if desired.

5.6 Media Playback (Bluetooth Mode Only)

Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button.
Next Track: Short press the Next Track button.
Previous Track: Short press the Previous Track button.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Redragon GS817 soundbar, follow these maintenance guidelines:

Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the soundbar. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
Placement: Place the soundbar on a stable, flat surface. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in areas with high humidity.
Ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow around the soundbar to prevent overheating. Do not block any ventilation openings.
Handling: Handle the soundbar with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts.
Power Off When Not in Use: If the soundbar will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to power it off and unplug it from the power outlet.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Redragon GS817 soundbar, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
No sound from the soundbar.	Soundbar is off. Volume is too low. Incorrect input mode selected. Audio cable (AUX) is loose or faulty. Bluetooth not connected.	Long press the Volume Knob to power on. Loud power on/off announcement.	This is a fixed feature.	The volume of the power on/off announcement is not adjustable.
RGB lighting is too bright.	Brightness is not adjustable.	The brightness of the RGB lighting is not adjustable. You can cycle through modes or turn them off using the Light Effect Mode Button.
